The news of Ratchet/Folklore/Uncharted/Haz e/COD 4/Ut3 has them all upset. I mean unless the all just bought: Bioshock/Oblivion/Ghost Recon/Gears/Orange box/COD2/Halo3...
They really don't have much exclusive content to end the year. But thats expected< considering the 360 is just about done as far as good exclusive/multiplat games go.

720p is great, 1080p is great as well.. However, negligible when it comes to a game.
I've never seen that in a game, at first I thought it would be 'meh.. ok different animations for different things' But its flawless and you only really notice it when you look at OTHER games with stiff walk/run cycles, 1 shooting animation etc.
Crysis is pretty amazing as well as far as that aspect goes, like when you swim in the water and swim backwards, you start doing like a back stroke thing to where you can see your feet kicking in front of you...

Dropping the price of a non 1080p HD-DVD player is once again a slap in the face to customers who may actually buy this thing. Its not a true hd-dvd player in the first place.
But then I sit and know that a person who has spent the money on a HDTV more than likely has some money to spend on a HD-DVD player... unless it is someone with really bad ...

The ps3 has sold 5 million units in less than a year. (no games)
The xbox360 has sold 12 million units in 2 years. (biggest game franchise included)
Unless the 360 sold 10 million its first year, and 2 throughout the second, or some other break down of that final #.. The ps3 would be right on schedule to do another 5+ in a years time.

Yet how are devs going to come up with more disc space when they need it? You are restricted by dvd9. The memory issue is clearly just a learning curve. I agree, its a lack of memory in traditional sense, but since you program the ps3 using the cell to take care of the majority of the operations, less ram is needed. No idea why the news isn't picking up on this. Devs certainly are....

ALl I can say is, too bad IGN/GAmespot/Gamepro just shows you guys the 'story mode' images with all the polish.
The game looks terrible. Should be fun like KOTOR, however now it just looks like more of a third person shooter where the lead character keeps the same face the entire game, outside of the 'story mode'
