No actually they cant. It offers no add on support at all. That means it will not support anything oter than HTML5. If they could update it later then i wouldnt clearly say no add on support.
If it was as easy to do as you claim, it would be built with that functionality to begin with. It does not support add ons. It was built from the ground up to only support HTML5.
Hope whoever made that claim is no longer ina position to do the same for any other game.

well of course it isnt multi touch. It was made for humans with 2 hands not aliens with 20. The whole not multi touch like its a bad thing is amusing. If you got both your hands holding the controller why would you then want to take both hands away to multi touch the screen and do you expect it to float in the air while you are multi touching it? Mika a prime example of the bias on this site... Does nothing but troll but is never banned. If a NIntendo supporter went into a Sony article and said something like Sony is in 3rd place, they would most likely be banned even though it's the truth, but then Sony supporters like Mika are allowed to say whatever garbage they want and nothing is ever done to them.

The Wii U gamepad has all the buttons of a normal controller the ONLY difference is the added screen. I'm not sure why someone like you would think one is great when you never used it and the other is complete crap when you never used it even though both offer the exact same type of control options the only difference is the screen.

Actually they will dude. I'm not really sure how to explain it though. I'll try though. Go grab a pen and paper and using 6 lines draw a person. Now draw another using double the lines. Just keep going and each time double the amount of lines you use. Now at first you are very limited but as you go on you at some point will have something that is easy to see is a person.However if you keep going you will find that the increase in detail becomes less and less apparent.
So far the browser is my only complaint. Not having any add on support could be a bad thing. Yes HTML5 is set to be the new standard but what happens if something better comes along? THey've left themsevles no way to support it

Well it is launching here first and this is by far their biggest territory. Like any smart company you put the product where it will sell the most and has the most potential. When its closer to the launches in other regions I am sure more consoles will be shifted there.
You'll see a change in attitude when Sony announces their version. You can already see it in PS3/Vita articles were people posting hate for Wii U cant wait for a similar experience from their chosen company. Much the same way motion controls to many were complete garbage until Move was announced.

bringing out a console with PC specs and upgradable to boot? What you are saying or suggesting is that MS is going to go the old Apple route and release PC's using custom parts... You do see how well that worked out for Apple right? And MS has a bout the same presence as Apple did int he PC gaming market.
They gave away any advantage they had in the PC gaming market when they abandoned it and I seriously doubt they have enough pull left to have any kind of impact ont he PC ...
The number of lives you can obtain is pointless if you cannot get past the levels with them. The game doesnt become easier simply because it gives you more chances. If it was truely easy your complaint would be based more on level design and level difficulty not the number of 1 ups

It could be good but it depends. Knowing they had the Wii U coming maybe they planned ahead for this? If it's just now hitting them to do this then it may not be as good as the WiiU gamepad, then again since the system itself was built with this type of interaction in mind from the beginning it might not matter that if the 3DS wasnt.

Because they think they can get away with it so they do it. they are under the impression that the name will sell it regardless of price. One of the big reasons IMO that it doesnt sale as well on PC. No justification for the hike in price.
