Duke Nukem is the only exception I can think of to that, but only because it took a lot longer than any other game ever created

Not playing games is not the same thing as not knowing programming. You can know how to make a game and not be interested in playing them.
BTW the understanding your userbase part is funny. How did that work out for say Capcom and Devil may cry? How many times have games been changed to please the user base only to have the user base get pissed off. Ever hear of Resident Evil 6? They did what users asked for, for the most part and still got plenty of hate for it.

Before the Vita came out Sony fans claimed everything the Wii U did was a gimmick and a joke and gonna destroy gaming blah blah blah... Now that Sony has a product that is similar Sony fans are now claiming they invented the very idea and it's amazing and game changing.

Sony's HD remakes have no added content at all either. Just updated visuals for the game you already played, this is partly tri and partly other MH games. It's not at all just an HD upgrade. Seems only Sony can release the same game over and over and its okay.

Wii U daily is not Nintendo. While it could be right, you shouldnt take the word of anyone but the developer on when it is coming out.
The only game I ever had issues with on my PC was Unreal 2k4. Other than that one single game I havent had issues with PC games since this millenium began. Yeah back in the days of Civ 2 or tiefighter maybe but those days are over...

Consoles will one day fit in your pocket. Most people here seem to be under the impression when people talk about mobile devices taking over that they are taking over in their current state. That is not the case at all. One day they will have proper buttons and one day will have the power to make great games.
BTW they don't need to be powerful to make good games. Good games have been made since the start of video games and we didnt have multi core processors til a few years...
