Sorry but that isnt what it looks like. You say they gutted the CPU, but that isnt the case. It doesnt need to be gutted to be superior power wise.
a 36nm chip can do more than a 45nm chip but it uses less power. DDR3 RAM can do more than DDR2 RAM but it uses less power to do so.
Running on 75watts is nothing to worry about when compared to chips designed in 2004-2005.
Could you imagine how bad the graphics would be if the outdated processor in the PS3 had to send different data to the Vita and the TV at the same time? The thing can barely do 720 30FPS with current games. With Wii U you get 1080p and 60FPS even with it updating both screens. It's only going to take a month or two for Wii U sales to exceed Vita sales by a few million, after that point why bother with PS3 and Vita
PS3 is barely able to play current gen games like Skyrim yet...

No more heroes was ported without motion based controls and sucked big time for it. It completely bombed on PS3 and Suda wouldnt even touch the game.

The few that did get ported were inferior in every case.
The better the chip the less power it uses. Smaller dyes mean less power too. A chip today can do more with 75watts than a chip 9 years ago could do with 125watts.
I would love for all 3 to be the focus. This gen was kind of a let down in game play. I am not saying we didnt get advances but not like we did last gen. Compare open world PS2 games to open world games this gen. Many game play elements are missing. Compare last gen JRPGs to this gen. Few open world JRPGs exist.
GTA took a step back between San Andreas and GTA4 because they spent so much time focused on the graphics of the game they had to make cuts somewhere.

The issue with smart glass is the 360 console was not built around the idea. The Wii U updates the gamepad faster than it does the TV. Does smart glass do this? Also wont you still need a controller along with a smart phone to make the most of this? Few smart phones even have buttons so I'm not sure its a viable option for some games.

I'm not sure how Sony is cursed in any way. However I do find it funny its been on the market for 6 years and whoever wrote this thinks the hardware was finalized 5 years ago, a year after it was on the market.
It's been more like 7-8 years since it was finalized. Part of the delay it saw was due to blu ray diode shortages. Sony had to know in 2005 the final specs in order to start manufacturing the system for their 2006 release.
There are more gamers today than back then obviously. It's easier to get higher sales when you have 200million gamers than the 80's when there were 80million or so. If you want to put things in perspective at least do it properly.

So you pull up 3 games that havent released and havent had a chance to get a sequel yet and 3 games that are just copies of other IP's as proof of how good Sony is? Copying Mario for LBP wasnt a risk. Taking God of War and giving it a female lead is not a risk either.

Of course people that have no choice but to wait for someone to buy a console wont get to experience next gen until their mom or dad let them but as an adult who buys my own stuff I am excited to see what nintendo,MS, and Sony have for next gen.
Good to see this game is now back to being a quality title. Sad it got trashed so hard for being on Wii. Now PS3 owners can experience what Wii owners had years ago. A great motion controlled game.
