I like Macs alot, they are well made and very well optimized, but (particularly in the desktop department) there are enormous leaps between each iteration. Mini, iMac and Mac Pro with nothing in between.
The Mini is not practical for most people as it is barely as powerful as a budget laptop PC and almost twice the price.
For the cost of mid range PC workstation The iMac is not cut out for workstation level applications, nor is it cost effective for your average co...
She can play my Wii.....
Crap...
I is pumped...
Its obvious you didn't take the time to even read this article let alone actually play a Zelda, Mario or (dare I say) casual title for Wii...
If you had you would know that first; Galaxy and Twilight Princess are pretty incredible games, and second; neither were even mentioned in this list of upcoming titles.
Just because you missed the Wii train, doesn't mean you have to hate everyone who had the sense to buy a ticket.
Have you ever stopped to consider th...
for knowing that you don't belong in the gamer zone. You can't argue with facts, and the simple fact is; Wii has got an awesome lineup in 09.
Congrats first of all for having a girlfriend, that is something only a small percentage of these savages can honestly claim... congrats also on your recent acquisition...
The general response from people who have played the Wii for more than 10 minutes is overwhelmingly positive. Even more so for people who make informed software choices...
Let me know if you are on the fence about any particular games... If its worth having, I've probably played it...

I actually thought n64 wasn't so bad... but, I also recall finding it tactfully satisfying to cram cartridges into a slot... still do in fact.
I am actually a little excited for RedSteel2. I know the first was a major misfire, but I think Ubi might nail the sequel with Wii Motion-Plus.
Then again.... it could be the same disorienting wagglefest that the first one was.
But I think it's a cool formula, and with WiiMP and the right direction, it could be everything we hoped the first would be.
There is certainly an ahem... "hardcore" Wii audience, and they will support this and other titles like it. keep in mind, the difference in development costs involved with producing a Wii title versus an HD title. Fewer units sold can in some cases turn a higher profit for the devs/pubs than with a game that costs 3 or 4 times more to develop.
I replied to a Chubear post on a Conduit story today, I thought he was just misinformed... but it seems (despite his dislike for it) he just follows Wii-Stories to rain on everyone's parade... I'm not sure what causes this sort of behavior.... but, I can't wait for Madworld... especially after hearing overwhelming positive feedback from a few hands-on reports.
"There is NOTHING this game is doing that couldn't be done on last gen consoles like the GC, the PS2 or Xbox."
- The controls are the main appeal of The Conduit, (or any Wii-FPS) and I don't recall anything quite like the Wii-Remote last gen. On a technical level; There were no devs pushing normal maps, dynamic lighting and fluid effects last gen... and excluding the XBox, there was no 16 player online either.

Outside with a ball?
If it's mediocre and poorly implemented, they you'll buy it?
OK... All I'll say is that I love my PS3 a whole lot more since I bought a straight up dual shock for it... sixaxis is too flimsy and I've yet to see it used correctly.
I would be very suprised if IR (or other cursor funtionality) was not built in to all next gen consoles. I love the wii remote/nunchuck combo for shooters. I can't go back to dual analog. I will say that there is a lot of room for ergonomic/button layout improvements.
I'm excited to see which company really nails this, because I anticipate that all controllers will be 2 piece, wireless, possibly with the ability to click together in the center for traditional control.

This should actually read "The Top 20 Nicest Breasts in Video Games", As they come in sets of 2... typically.
Better every time I see it.
Its sooo slooow... he is sighing in his own video... Its awesome that he found this... but he could have sung us a song or told us a story to pass the time.
Too many people assume that ""if given the choice, "hardcore" gamers would never choose Wii over PS3 or 360"". Well... when given the choice, I did. As the owner of a jacked up PC, I can't justify paying any money for a 360 or a PS3, no matter how cheap one may suddenly be. Of the 3, the only current gen console that offers enough unique experiences to compel me to spend any money is the Wii...
I don't think any surprises are on the horizon. ...
I know there are not many comments up so far, and inevitably someone will say that its an ugly game on a gimmicky system... but I'm still really glad to see the Wii getting some love on N4G. I really dig Fragile's art direction and music... and even as an admitted graphics whore, I found myself asking... What would more polys do for this game? and the answer is... in too many cases, make the devs lazy. I can see that alot of effort went into this title, and I'm really amped for it.
In a Mac Pro, you can have 1,2,3 or 4 RadeonHD's 2600 XT that don't run in crossfire (won't run jack)... a single Geforce8800 GT which, while nice wont run todays games on high settings... or a $3,000 Quadro (no thanks).
