I wouldn't sweat not liking the conduit's controls. They're probably the most customizable console controls ever made. I think HotD looks pretty slick, but I'd consider Conduit more of a must buy.

From your list of responses, it seems you made that comment and soon after, you must have seen a video for this or some other badass looking Wii game and started worrying that people would call you out on being visually impaired. I think this game has more geometry in it's organic environments than alot of games I see on PS3, 360 and even PC.

I just watched the IGN video review, and the reviewer mentioned that the game dips on occasion. Hardly "chugging along" the majority of time was spent complimenting the game on it's style and execution.
and... The PS3 is using a type of GPU that has been available in PC's for 5 years... Doesn't sound very "next gen" to me.
Truth is, I've seen some nice looking games on both platforms, and I've seen some crap too.
