That sounds pretty cool. Like the AGEIA PhysX Card for Raytracing. It's actually interesting to think about the ways that a game might utilize these dedicated pieces of hardware in conjunction withe existing components. The only way it would catch on is if Dell & HP (or one of the big 3 Consoles) decide to offer them in pre-built gaming rigs. Otherwise, there is a real chicken egg scenario with games not being developed because consumers haven't supported the hardware in large enough ...
As Kakkoii and Oobob pointed out, Raytracing is incredibly processor intensive and would require an obscene amount of computation to be produced real time at a playable frame rate.
One common technique used in games is to bake textures onto a model. This allows static objects in a scene to be lit using advanced render techniques such as raytracing, ambient occlusion, even final gathering, global illumination, caustics and refractions. The combined texture, light, shadow, spec...
They forgot the Motion Plus Logo... Although the game has sick art direction, that logo is the single most important thing you'll see on the cover.

Doug Elfman might be the single least intelligent person on the face of the earth. and... he's got a funny forehead vein too.
I've gotta stand up for my boy Sidar here... He hasn't said anything to warrant this backlash on this thread or any other... I (like many others) can't so much as mention that we enjoy Wii Games without having to contend with dozens of spastic Wii-Haters. As regulars on this site are concerned, Sidar is pretty reasonable and fair.
and... for the record; there have been an excessive amount of anti-Wii stories on this site lately.

Sorry you guys...
Our Government and our schools could be saving millions of dollars each year. Traditional sexual education is costly and mostly ineffective. So from now on, we should just show our kids a picture of this douche bag along with one of his articles and warn "This mistake could have been prevented.".
As uncivilized as they can sometimes be, at least the N4G message boards allow people to defend their arguments if they so choose. The way this ass hole has chosen to pu...

I got if for 39.97 at Amazon, paid for overnight shipping and still saved $5.00.
I can't wait bust up some monochromatic baddies.
"Maybe you shouldn't state your opinion as a fact. The game is just meh at best IMO."
Adding "IMO" to the end of your statements does not absolve you of the need to be credible. Nor does it validate your opinion.
That would be like me saying
"LazyDevs' smuggles Mexican midgets in his jumbo pantaloons IMO".
I still have to be accountable if I make a false claim.
Mario Galaxy was incredible by the way.
lol @ "Thanks a lot, motion controls."
Your comment reminds me of this hearing impaired fella I know who likes to make comments about music.
I'll see you on N-WFC in a few months.
You have earned a bubble.
Also, should I be as pumped as I am for the Conduit?
Also, Also, MP3 FTW!!!
I'm not sure where you stand on the subject, but what you've described is extremely similar to the Wiimote/Nunchuck Combo.
Analogue trumps KB for character movement. I have also become pretty sharp w/ the Wiimote IR, and it's actually on par w/ a precision Mouse if you take the time to find the right configuration.
People trash the Wiimote, but if anyone out there has ever been merc'ed by a dude name WiiJunkii in UT3, you should know that he was using a Wiimote/...
I would say its a little more like MP3, especially with added IR support.
MP1 w/ new play control will probably be the best in the series IMO.
I think MP2 was the most challenging, but I felt that the environments weren't quite as stunning as in the other two titles (MP3) especially.
MP3 was hard as hell by most people's standards, but probably the easiest in the trilogy.
If you liked either 2 or 3, you'll love the original MP.

Lots of people used to trash Wii until they realized that it was a cash cow. Then they usually jump ship.
Oh man, I just finished Fallout 3... and I started MP3 Corruption for a second run through, and god damn is it a beautiful game.
I am prepared to get 50 disagrees and all of my bubbles taken away for this next comment. but...
Exploring Bryyo and Elisia was such a beautiful escape after a few months in the comparably drab Post Apocalyptic landscapes in Fallout.

Curt Schilling also has a huge, devoted fanbase in Boston, who support his philanthropic pursuits. His connections to the Red Sox, Charities and ALS Organizations specifically give him a great outlet to promote his work if he decides to use them.
