I was playing Uncharted 2 online around the time of release. And this guy in America who sounded a lot like Snoop Dog asked me to meet him for a fight, I guess getting shot in a online game is serious business. I told him I would but the problem was I lived in London England so it would be quite hard to hop on a plane and find where he lived and then fight him, I was also worried that it might have been Snoop Dog and I would have got shot or something. Halo sells itself. It's like COD in that regard. I had a friend who I had not seen for years come up to me last week, and within 20 minutes he was talking about the next Call of duty. Certain games just hit the right notes with the public. Halo, COD, God Of War, GT, GTA, Mario, Zelda.
They just appeal to gamers.

Mass Effect 2 is my game of the year so far, I've finished it twice and got all achievements. But I don't feel the need to buy the dlc for it, it's large enough as it is. And I don't think adding dlc to it is going to make me like it anymore than I do. I'm done with the game, time to move on. One thing I will note is I did not think the main story was as good as the first game. It lacked a bad guy like Saren. And the end boss was well, lame.

I watched about five minutes of the first mission, it's a darker, more cinematic Halo. And the gameplay is faster and has more going on. I must say I am very impressed, the graphics engine and level design is great. The music and sound effects are without a doubt the best I've heard in any Halo game. I forgot about Heavy Rain, I enjoyed it quite a bit. Looked great. But the gameplay needs something extra it's too detached from the player in terms of controls. It's all a bit akward. Hard to score a game like that, some will love it others hate it. For me Uncharted 1 and 2 are the best PS3 games, don't get me wrong I'm not bashing games like God of war 3, just think they're not as good as some people seem to think they are.

MGS4 was awful, one of the worst games I've ever played. And the story made me feel like I'd been violated, it was that bad. God of war 3 had its moments but was also over rated. Loved the boss fights, but the story, lame sex scene, and last boss were horrible. Uncharted 2 was great. Killzone 2 was amazing looking, story wasn't to bad, gameplay was slightly above average. But overall a decent package and deserves the 9/10 scores it got.

Maybe Infinity ward could explain what went wrong with Modern warfare 2 online play. I still can't figure it out. They went from decent multiplayer in COD4 to over the top mess in MW2. How is that possible with a 40 million budget, and the promise of another 50 million if needed?. Total screw up on nearly every level.
