Wipeout Omega Collection for me!
Can we please ban all articles that end in a question mark?
Imagine the console war as a party at someone's house. Xbox is like the loud "funny guy" who thinks he's the life of the party but secretly most of the guests think he's obnoxious and just wishes he'd leave.
499.99 is what I believe it will be, if MS doesn't want to eat a bunch of cost. If they roll Scorpio out at 399.99, they're losing money somewhere.
9.99 per month.
LMAO! Zing!!!
Gran Turismo is a racing sim. Forza Horizon 3 is an open world arcade racer. You might as well be comparing GT to Mario Kart.
@RommyReigns
No, I mean Sony hasn't given us enough racing games this generation compared to last gen. Aside from GT5 and 6 on PS3, we also got Motorstorm, Motorstorm Pacific Rift, Motorstorm Apocalypse, Mod Nation Racers, Little Big Planet Karting, Wipeout HD, Wipeout Fury, etc.
I agree that Driveclub eventually became a very good racing game after a tumultuous development, mired with network issues in the beginning. However that was 3 years ago ...
Agreed. That and racing. While Wipeout Omega and GT Sport is a step in the right direction, the PS4's racing output has been overall disappointing compared to PS3. Where's Motorstorm? Where's Mod Nation Racers?
Sign me up! :)
Also, just because YOU are in a financial position to afford whatever new tech comes our way doesn't mean everyone is. That doesn't make them foolish just because they choose to live within their means.
Agreed. Despite owning one myself (hypocritical, I know), I thought the Pro was completely and utterly unnecessary. But I'm a slave to tech, what can I say?
That depends...
A.) Does that person have a 4K TV?
B) What is the price of the Scorpio VS the 1S?
If the Scorpio is 500.00 and the 1s is sitting there at 250.00, that's a VERY appealing option to someone, especially if they haven't upgraded to a 4K TV.
The JoyCons when paired with the grip works just fine. You don't HAVE to have the Pro controller any more than X1 owners have to have an Elite controller.
If this is true then I wouldn't expect to see The Last of Us 2 at E3 this year. The games are too similar.
The reason digital games hold full price longer is so not to undercut retail prices. Nintendo, Sony, and MS still need retailers to sell their consoles and despite digital sales being on the rise, a large chunk of game sales still come from physical media. If digital prices started undercutting retail prices, what incentive would retailers have to carry those products?
And how many of that 27 million is only in the US? Globally, Xbox is a complete non factor.
Actually, if MS were smart they'd partner with Sega and get their IP's exclusive to Xbox. Sega is sitting on a gold mine of IP's that could help sell quite a few systems.

"There's a theory that Sony might update the Pro and make supersampling a system wide feature..."
I've wondered about that myself. It just makes no other sense that supersampling would be removed from existing games that supported it. It had no impact on performance whatsoever. Does anyone know if it was removed from Ratchet and Clank as well? That game looks downright gorgeous on 1080p supersampled.
