This sucks to hear but I'm really not surprised. Oh well, better to do it right than do it fast.
They've released 2 IP's in the last 7 years. I don't think it's unreasonable at all to want a 3rd.
As a PlayStation fan I know that I'm supposed to be excited about this, but honestly I'm not. After completing Uncharted 3 I was quite burned out on this series and I had hoped that Naughty Dog would be working on a completely new IP instead of yet another Uncharted sequel. Now course I didn't expect them to not make a new Uncharted ever but I'd hoped at least they would have put this franchise to rest for a little while before doing another one. I sure hope Sony isn't c...
I disagree FoxTC, I think Titanfall could benefit greatly from a single player mode. If you're going to charge full price for a game, it should have a single player mode. Why? Because like it or not, all multiplayer online games have a sunset. They don't last forever. Servers eventually get taken down, newer versions come out, leaving gamers to abandon the previous version, etc. The longevity of multiplayer only games is a lot shorter than games with a single player mode that ca...
What was the last game EA DIDN'T try to rush to market?
I want a story-driven single player campaign mode.
I want more customization of my titan (I'm talking "Forza" level of customization with decals, paint jobs, etc)
I want an "arena" battle mode where it's just you and another titan mono-a-mono.
I want transformable titans where they can turn into military type vehicles on the fly and back to titans.
Dream on!
Normally I would agree but TLoU is special. This is one of only about 5 games from last generation that I don't mind them releasing a "remastered" edition.
4K is pointless. Virtually no one has a TV that displays at that resolution. Why should companies waste their time on 4K at this point. Now next gen? We'll see. Depends how quickly 4K is adopted between now and then.
So you're OK with spending 100.00 more for 180p less resolution? LOL OK then!
60fps or not interested! Sorry but racing, fighting, and sports games absolutely need to be 60fps.
That's what I was just going to ask. Will this improve existing games or will games have to take specific advantage of it?
The X1 is not. It's still hobbling due to bad software, but once the X1 gets its software right....look out.
Um, look out for what?
And underpowered hardware that 3rd parties aren't interested in working on!
"The coming years look very bright for gamers!"
FYP! ;-)
There's no reason why both consoles cannot coexist. One doesn't have to fail in order for the other to succeed. PS4 will have it's audience, Xbone will theirs. Bottom line is we as gamers will greatly benefit. Just imagine how epic this generation is going to be with both a laser focused Sony and a laser focused MS. Great times to be had for sure!
Sheldon obviously not as brilliant as I once thought. Amy offered to buy Sheldon BOTH consoles and he turned her down flat! What an idiot!
I have to say, I'm already liking Phil Spencer as the head of Xbox division. It seems that Phil "gets it" in terms of where their focus really needs to be, which is games! Games are what ultimately drives console sales. I'm also glad to hear him acknowledge that the whole DRM and always online requirement was a mistake from the beginning. Unlike before where MS would only acknowledge that the original plan was a sound idea, they just poorly communicated it to consumers. Phil...
I've always pictured Sheldon as a PC guy. However like others have said, I do believe that he will end up keeping both consoles.
Agreed! Sony needs to understand that gamers are not going to pay a subscription in order to use music that they already own! The whole concept of subscription based music streaming is just stupid to me.
