@rainslacker
Good point!
To the competition, every Sony exec is a Bond villain.
SMDH. I really wish I understood the spell that COD continues to have so many people under.
Spurg, I'm telling you that kind of business model is not sustainable. I know Xbox owners are loving the day and date stuff with Game Pass right now, but long term they are actually hurting their own platform of choice by supporting it. The AAA space will only shrink on Xbox if MS continues to do this. Game Pass is absolutely having a negative impact on actual game sales on Xbox, and they aren't making enough in Game Pass subscriptions to subsidize the loss of that potential revenu...
Still one of my favorite controllers
LOL what's to be "concerned" about? It's sitting at an 84 on Metacritic. 62 positive reviews, 11 mixed, and 1 outright negative. I'm not sure what's so concerning. It's considered by the overwhelming majority of critics as a GOOD to GREAT game.
"Exclusives dont matter" - Xbox fans
As do we!
Are there really THAT many people genuinely "mad" about it? Or is this being perpetuated by the media because they desperately needs clicks?
For Switch, 2017 is still my favorite with BOTW, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Fast RMX, Splatoon 2, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, Arms, and Mario Odyssey. But I will say so far 2019 has been better than 2018. Super Smash Bros was the only Switch title I bought last year.
"I had one and literally beat BOTW and returned it."
If this is true then you're a big POS for doing so! GTFO you leech! What, do you think it's ok to use retailers as your own free rental service? Glad you didnt buy it from my store. Not only would I have refused your return, I would've told your freeloading ass to get bent!
Maybe it's just me but I feel like the term "crisis" should be reserved to describe more important emergencies
It's what it should've been sold for anyway. Its egregious as hell to charge 60.00 for a remake of a Gameboy game. 39.99 at most is what this shouldve retailed for.
Hate to admit it but, this has been kind of a shit year for PlayStation (by their standards). Days Gone (71), Erica (69), Concrete Genie (75), and now Medievil remake (67,) have all been fairly low-scoring exclusives. If Shenmue 3 and Death Stranding end up underwhelming, this will by far be the PS4's worst year since its launch year.
Too bad it's still flight simulator. It's like saying the video of your cousin's wedding has the best picture quality of anything on TV.
@Roadkillers
And that's perfectly fine! But stop charging us 60.00 for these kinds of games. 3DS titles typically sold for 39.99 new. That's what these smaller games should be selling for. Just because they are running at higher resolutions doesn't make them AAA console experiences, worth charging full price for. Links Awakening at 60.00 is a disgrace when you could get Crash N Sane trilogy at launch for 40 bucks. Look at a game like Ratchet and Clank on PS...
This is a 7/10 game. 4.8 is completely egregious. Scores like that are reserved for games that are broken and have serious issues.
@Outlawz. Just off the top of my head...
Kirby Star Allies
Yoshi's Crafted World
Super Mario Party
Mario Tennis Aces
Mario Maker 2 (though I can forgive this one due to the sheer amount of content)
Zelda Links Awakening
Luigi's Mansion 3
Pokemon Let's Go
Every single one of these games could easily run on 3DS (at a lower resolution of course). Which is fine, but Nintendo needs to ...
Nintendo is settling into making a lot of these Switch games with "3DS" level budgets and scope, yet they're charging full 60.00 AAA prices for them. It's a shame. These games have no ambition whatsoever. Nintendo should have truly taken LM3 to a new level by making it a much larger scale game. They could've put Luigi into a large scale, open world style castle with tons of varied enemies and environments, a more detailed story, etc. Instead we are basically gettin...
What I want is for it to be half as good as some fans hype the franchise up to be in the first place.
