My suggestion to Infinity Ward is, stop paying attention to the loud vocal minority of social media. It does NOT represent the vast VAST majority of gamers!
You know what I hate most? It's that the game forces you to play in vertical screen mode. I can't believe theres no widescreen option.
I plan on unloading my chamber in their face!
Does everything now have to have the word "culture" attached to it?
@Neonridr
360 DID have some great games, but a large portion of its library was smoke and mirrors that got really exposed near the end of last gen and carried over to thIs gen. Instead of investing in developers last gen the way Sony did, MS instead elected to invest in timed 3rd party exclusivity and exclusive marketing deals. Many multiplat games were marketed to give the illusion that they were 360 exclusives when they really weren't and games that were exclusive t...
Plus when the PS4 is all said and done, Sony will own 4 of the top 5 spots on the all time highest selling home consoles list (not counting handhelds). THAT is freaking dominance!
Destiny has been killing me for 6 years
No, Insomniac should.
Lol you dont have to watch the trailer for that. The release date will be all over social media the second its revealed.
No you're absolutely right. I get that. I just thought it was strange for them to eliminate the function completely. Not packing in a dock and marketing it as just a handheld makes sense to me, as it adds greatly to the cost. But not even giving people the option to buy a dock separately and use it for that functionality, seems a bit "draconian" to me.
Unless you are a.) A child and ride in the back seat of your parent's car, b.) Travel extensively for your job, or c.) Use public transportation to commute back and forth to work. I cannot possibly fathom why anyone would willingly play their Switch in handheld mode over docked on a big flatscreen. I'll bet the vast majority of handheld users are in Japan. For them it makes sense, with space being such a commodity and so many of them having long commutes back and forth to work.
My question is, was it REALLY necessary to remove it? I get not bundling it with a dock to cut cost down. But taking away the ability to dock it completely, even if you purchase a dock separately, seems kind of silly if you ask me. Why totally eliminate a feature that wouldnt have hurt anything by leaving it in? It couldn't have added much at all to the total mfg cost. I wouldve bought one had Nintendo left the feature in.
Probably.
I dont honestly. It was just a general observation I made in light of the topic
Why do people who come from bi-racial parents seem to ONLY identify as their 50% minority race? After all, aren't they just as much white as they are black?
Still should've been dockable. I dont care if they would've sold the dock separately to keep costs down but the ABILITY to dock it should've been included.
Ummm....it doesn't.
Switch -299.99
Switch Lite - 199.99
Bullshit. Console gaming was already headed in that direction anyway. The Dreamcast was gaming online long before the xbox came along. The PS2 also supported online gaming with Final Fantasy 11 Online, SOCOM, etc. The only thing MS did was force gamers to upgrade to broadband sooner. I love how people act like online gaming was invented by MS and NEVER would have been a thing had it not been for them. MS just forced it a lot sooner.
Exactly. How can you call something "best console" that doesn't even get tent pole titles such as Madden, Call of Duty, Assassins Creed (the modern ones, not ports of 7 year old last gen versions), etc? Just because you're getting The Witcher 3: Functioning Edition five years after the fact doesn't mean you have great 3rd party support. I mean, is it better than Wii U's 3rd party support? Absolutely but that was an extremely low bar to begin with.
Its not "worse."
