With the 3 companies battling it out and driving prices down, we as gamers win.
I'm still not sure about LBP, does anyone know if they are planning on releasing a demo?
It's too expensive at £69.99, you can get freeview with hdd recorder for less then that. DABS were doing them for £40. Freeview on its own should be no more than £30.
how?
Do you think streaming from the USB drive would be quick enough? Or copy from the USB drive to internal drive before playing?
scissor_runner: you don't need to do disk switching, you can rip them to the hard drive in the fall update. :)
Leathersoup: I have been saying that for months but no listens. :(
They give you a representation when playing online games together and not just a picture. It would look a bit silly having lot of pictures lined up in a row when playing 1 v 100 for instance.
I liked the demo. Found the controls a bit strange, kept slashing with my sword when I was try to look around the room, but soon got used to it.
They could make it region free, so a least they could import the English version.
8.1 - I like the idea of have a conversation with the enemy AI, a bit of banter back and forth before you blow their head off.
Did they give a date, my sound is not working :(
The Bungie website had a countdown timer running, that was due to expire today and reveal the game. But it got stopped and a replaced with a note saying that it would no longer happen.
good for those that don't have PS2/3's though.
It's not game installs, it's game ripping to the hard drive, and it's optional.
solidsnakus I hear what you are saying about the casual direction, but it just another string to MS bow, they will still support all the games you like. I'm looking forward to gears 2 and fable 2, while my kids liked lips, so we are all happy. PS3 just keeps bringing out FPS and as for LBP I don't get this game. I just can not imagine me saying to my friends see you later and we'll play some LBP!!
MS had Portal as a new game.
this is part of the ps3's 10 plan. it will be ready in year 9 when everybody has fiber to the front door. :)
why should xbox users have to beg before they get something. Why can not MS just do it before they are asked for it?
I'm looking forward to this update. I think it looks cleaner and easier to navigate.
