All XBLA and Indie games have a demo to play, and have done since day 1. I agree Sony needs to do the same.
The sales spike was more to with the release of monster hunter, it sold 85,000+ in that week.

I don't think it's aimed at hardcore, I think you are missing the point with Kinect. Hardcore gamers already have an Xbox they are after the non gamers.

I have to agree, motion control are no good for the games I play. My Wii also hardly ever gets used.
Amazon says different, charting No. 1 in the UK & 9 in the US and not out until November!
Why would you want to? what is wrong with a controller, with a controller you don't have any setup, don't have to sit facing the TV. I like to play lounged on the sofa.
why would you want to use montion on KZ3, I have tried motion on RES4 on the Wii, gave up after 10mins. Give me a controler any day.
Sony’s are shipped figures (sold to distributers), VG is sold to customers. So with your figures that is saying there’s 1.2 million on shelves around the world waiting to be sold, which seems about right.

The new 360 is out of stock until the 13th, that's why it's dropped.
Because they are free to fix and when you have a lot off games in your library, it's a lot of invertment. Also when they work, they are a great system. I have had 2 fail in almost 5 years, so 2 weeks without an xbox out off 5 years is not that much of a problem.
I'll see what deal they do with kinect. Looks good though.
