^^ no he meant MS E3 was mostly CGI trailers etc, basically nothing was played LIVE.
ps4 has dedicated hardware to record/upload in the background.
if they have only just added this to XB1 then it must be taking even more resources away from the games!

I think he was P/O with Sony for not pushing Resistance enough, but tbh after the first game they were VERY average not worthy to be in same league as other first party Sony

It's literally the best day so far of the year hahah!
The stand-out for me was definitely Beyond.
The Last Of Us looks great but Beyond looks even better than Heavy Rain which is an amazing game in itself!
^^ The GOW Demo was not "beyond unbelievable", it was really boring, bland and looked like GOW2 HD graphically... until the end with the Kraken, which we didn't really get to see much of.
The Wonderbook almost ruined the entire conference!
It totally made me forget (almost) everything they showed before because I was so bored/confused/cringing over that fat woman almost crying.
They only showed about 3 good games, I think PlayStation All Stars looks really boring and a bit of a mess tbh, not much strategy or anything...

Best thing about the show, Heavy Rain is one of my top games this gen and this looks so much better!
Gotta say, God Of War under-performed, GOW3 looked alot better both gameplay wise and graphically.
The Last Of Us looked good, but we didnt really get to see much more of it than what we have already seen, still a sold for me being ND & from what we have seen.

^^^ Actually, Guild Wars 2 is classed as an RPGMMO, and although different, they have ALOT in common with each other.
At the end of the day, it comes to Guild Wars taking extra years to develop the game and get it right, and Skyrim taking a couple years shorter off dev time to push out.
There's no way round that, you get more from a game the longer they have to develop it.
Guild Wars is way more like Skyrim than it is WOW, which is just a...
^^ DVDs aren't that bad, most older stuff that wasn't made for HD looks just as good upscaled DVD as it does on Blu-ray!
Sometimes Bluray can actually make things look worse, because you see things you were never meant to see..
Plus you still get full surround sound with a DVD! Only not HD surround sound.
But ye, I only buy Bluray now too lol.
Another day another FW article about features we will never get on ps3....
They could give us MANY more features that don't involve extra memory resources in the XMB/PSN!!
An example is the PSN profiles, they are soo bare and almost pointless, there is little/no interaction with other users and their profiles (except to compare a long list of trophies...).
It just feels outdated and disjointed from the rest of PSN (like the store etc).
Would it be so hard to incorporate the store design into the profiles!?
^^ yes maintenance is a good thing and is required, but PSN "maintenance" isn't that, it is the network going down/people unable to login in certain parts of the world, they find a solution then it is online in a few hours (usually) - that's NOT maintenance! Just like it happened today..
Also, it doesn't usually last 1 hour LOL (as you can see by today..), not being funny, but I can't believe when they actually schedule these things...which as I said...
^^ Well it feels like it has been down alot this past year, yes I understand being down for a month because of hacking, but it has been down several times since then for atleast a day at a time due to "scheduled maintenance".
I mean I remember it coming back online for a week after hack, then going back down again for a day or so, then coming back online then week later offline for maintenance again, I mean, get your s**t together haha.

It's really annoying because there is SO much they could do with PS3 to make the experience for it's users even better, but they just don't seem to be putting in the resources at all.
I understand the focus is PSV, but would it really kill their profits THAT much to have a team dedicated to enhancing PS3 XMB/PSN??!! And not the 1-2 people they seem to have running everything now...
