I think this article was just sarcasm written all over it. Don't take it too seriously...
I found one misconception in the article for his supposed persona where he said not a single good video game was made in Japan; he stated this, "This is why I can barely get five minutes into Ico, but have spent a cumulative thirteen years playing Ridge Racer."
I wonder why that persona can play Ridge Racer for thirteen years if it was made by, Namco which ...
However the developer is Ninja Theory; not Capcom.
I'm just saying...
Funky

B. Flamewar in Comments
How people see it is up to them.
It's in the new opening animation,

Starts at the 3 minute mark.
You can't have any kind of mecha anime opening without having one of the girl pilots flying through space naked.
You missed one Carl,
"The staff cautiously proceeded to explain, that they hope everybody will judge the game by its own merit and not that of previous installments."
I must say then if that's the case how about we call it something other than Resident Evil (Biohazard)? Since well you know were not suppose to think about the previous games....
Hmm so the whole 30 FPS vs 60 FPS debate is settled huh?
Considering Kojima asked Inaba at Platinum Games to make sure Rising is 60 FPS along with Kojima describing in his tweets for the MGS HD Collection how increasing the frames from 30 to 60 appears more fluid to the human eye, I'm going to say 60 is better especially if its for an action game.
If people (Capcom) says it enough times, then it must be true....
Haven't heard anybody saying Billy Coen....
That's PR for you, they don't know how to express humility or shortcomings.
Probably the only developer I've seen who showed his own humility was Hideo Kojima, where he expressed how disappointed he was in MGS4 when the final product didn't achieve everything from his original vision of the game; 4 months before the game came out.
Their Devil Trigger is essentially the quicksilver style from DMC3
To be fair, Chris did pilot a jet in RE Code Veronica since his background says he was an airforce pilot.
When Kojima was making MGS1 he got yelled at for doing stuff like that and having Meryl's Codec Frequency on the Package (though I don't know why they would mind it on MGS1 since they did the same thing with MG2: Solid Snake on the MSX mind you the box was cardboard so don't throw it away!).
Have you seen the people playing the walkthrough's do this,

There's one more video I wish I could find where someone did the DMC 4 fight with Dante against Berial all airbourne, took no damage, and did it on Dante Mus...
It seems more like, "10 Video Game Boss Battles the Author is Disappointed In". It's great to have an opinion though I will say don't talk as if we'll agree. It would have to compose of a list of well known games that majority of people have played and can agree upon that the last boss battles were terrible. If anything I would like to see this authors list of his top ten boss battles.
Definitely disagree with the author on Liquid Ocelot and Malus (calls...
No Ryu Go Gotoku (Yakuza)? Those games are all about face punishment.
I used Rubbing Alcohol (good for attracting dust) on a Q-Tip, though Nintendo Repair serviceman say while it won't damage it they say its not an efficient cleaning method.
Ohh so your telling me the licensed Nintendo cleaning products were?

They will never know the joys, the frustrations, and the graphical glitches....
Ohh the graphical glitches really tested your imagination.
We can't call Ground Zeroes MGS5 because its not MGS5; its basically a game that leads to the events of MGS5.
It's a form of storage that was originally used on cartridges to store the program for the compiled games there's even different types of ROM's.
There's Mask ROM, PROM, EPROM, EEPROM.
Mask ROM: Read only storage.
PROM: One time programmable storage, used frequently in video game consoles, mobile phones, RFID tags, and other electronic / automotive products (non-volatile).
EPROM: Erasable programmable storage, only way to erase data is b...
