JRPG's pride themselves on music, and it's a great thing too.
* MGS4 Spoiler* At the start the start of Act 4 when you arrive at Shadow Moses You see MGS1 in its current gen glory. Snake has some flash backs while "The Best Is Yet To Come" plays. Truly the most nostalgic moment in gaming, and definitely one of the most memorable if your a fan of MGS.
Makes you think twice about Final Fantasy XIV now doesn't it? Square should focus on making JRPGs and forget about the MMO market.
Pokemon would be an awesome MMO, one that I would definitely pick up. Gundam and Dynasty Warriors would be cool but Im not too interested in the.
Mario Kart no, thats just my opinion
I love Crackdown, more than any other 360 game out. But it is in no way as good as inFAMOUS, and for very good reason too. IT WAS MADE IN 2007. Crackdown 2 on the other hand is a different story....
It will be better than most people think. Valve have always put out good games and L4D2 will be no exception
Yeah I would take a bucket load of decent JRPGs over a bunch of FPS titles. JRPGs add a much needed variety and thats what gamers need more than ever right now. You dont need guns to have fun, and JRPGs (most of them anyway) prove that
IMO Crackdown is Superior to GTA4, Streetfighter is superior to Tekken and LBP is better than Mario. My point? Just because you think Xenogears (which was an awesome game) is better than FF7 is your opinion.
Revloutionary yes it was. 1997 saw visuals taken to a whole new with FF7. We were walking around in beautiful 3D, and it offered western gamers the opportunity to finally play a JRPG without being scared of them.
FF8 and 9 were better games than 7, offering bet...
Yes I have played all the above mentioned games and other games like Vagrant Story, Breath Of Fire, Alundra 1 & 2 and so forth. Do I think they better than FF7? Not by a long shot. Even later games FF8 and FF9 that came out were better games overall, but neither was as revolutionary as FF7 was at its time.
Crappy Internet opinions? Well thats your opinion if you think its crappy dude. You can go and read the 1000s of articles about a new Xbox coming out or how Forza 3 is bett...
yup I would agree with you on that too, if I needed my JRPG fix and they were strictly portable I would buy them just as I would on a home console.
That being said I would prefer not too hehehe
I think character development is something that JRPG creators have mastered, look at past titles and they have been amazing at telling stories. It's something that western RPG's just don't have down yet. Though Mass Effect is a worthy mention.
I agree Spoonymage, I hope that it doesn't go portable because while I still love portable gaming, I want to experience JRPGs in grand HD. It will suck if they become strictly portable.
I dont blame you bro for loving the 360, its an awesome system with awesome games. However LBP is just oozing with awesomeness. MGS4 is the best game of this generation, and personally if you want to play MGSR on 360 then I would buy MGS4 just to get to know Raiden. You will appreciate it a lot more. Should try them out bro
That is if you havent already tried them^^
This game is so much better with user created content, and as the author pointed out some gamers have amazingly creative minds out there. I think LBP is a success, no questions asked
You referring to Gears ? Cause yup that was the first shooter I plaeyd I actually preferred on a controller as opposed to keyboard and mouse
couldnt agree more. Movies promote violence just as much as video games do. However video games is the perfect scape goat for people to use. Quite sad actually.
finally a good franchise utilizing motion plus. After all the hype of motion plus finally some good news
yes more pics, she gives us fat unattractive gamers hope that one day we can score a hot chick like Olivia Munn.
*Then wakes up and realizes will never happen
not a lot of hot chicks are into games, hopefully that changes in the future
That would be awesome if they do. Maybe they would finish on FFVIII's Fithos Lusec. That was another epic sound, absolutely brilliant.
