I think a unique atmosphere helps, but I know awesome games that have the same atmosphere as others, but are just executed better, like COD4

I think because of hardware limitations they couldn't truly capture it. If thats the case then Cloud would have died early in FF7 against all; the Shinra dudes he fought against.
It really was. Man I never thought a game could be such an emotional rollercoaster. Snake is a beast, he may not be as strong as others physically but he can handle punishment like no other. All hail Snake!!!
It was a terrible game but had one of the best stories ever. If it was a movie it would have been a financial blockbuster.

Agree, like this Fat Princess debacle. Some reviewers have given it a low score, hasn't stopped gamers from enjoying it. Worry less about numbers and more about having fun. In my experience numbers are never fun.

Not too sure how this one is going to affect the fanboys. I know it won't stop me from buying it. I think the score is fair, and he does say the score would have gone up if the online issue would be fixed.

If it is the slim then it wouldn't be hard to see how it would be made cheaper. PS1 and PS2 are perfect examples of this. Change the disc tray for one, that alone would make for a significant cut in production costs. If they took, Im not saying they should, but if they took away the Wi-Fi adapter how much more would it save?

Doom 3 sucked, and I doubt I'll be getting this game on either console. Or the PC for that matter.

But I really dont see the point in spending extra on a game if I already shelled out more than $40 for it; especially if it was scratched by my console. Its one of the reasons I buy my multi plats on ps3, because I know it will never scratch.
EDIT: Not all multi plats, just ones that dont have DLC I want
