Nice one Chillbilly!! Bubbles^^
The reason the article says that both won is because both were good. Last year Sony got pwned by Microsoft, however this year they matched them.
Not everything on n4g has to be flamebait. In fact a non flamish article every now and then is just what n4g needs.
The environment remained the same with no variation. The sneaking aspect and graphics were improved but the story was terrible. It made me not want to play it again, a first for a Metal Gear game. MGS1 was a far better game than MGS2, in my opinion.
I do agree that the stealth of the first games was far more fun, but really all that was needed was for one to avoid the cone of vision. Still, it was a hell of a lot of fun.
But Raiden developed much more as a character in MGS4 than he did in MGS2. If he is to make an impact on Metal Gear this is the game. If he doesn't do it in this installment then its game over for Raiden as a lead. I have faith in him and personally i think he will make an impact, just not like Solid Snake did
I think he really can make an impact. Its now or never for Raiden
Agreed, it was great to see E3 with so many fantastic reveals. Much better, I hope they keep it up
I was hoping for some gameplay footage, hopefully TGS will fulfill my needs..
When i heard this game was coming out I wanted it straight away. I wan this title and the score just convinced me to buy it. Looks like fun^^
I never played sims, could this one persuade me to play ?
I would rather buy full games but there is some games that I have bought DLC for. Crackdown Keys To The City has kept me playing that game for ages, and the different costumes on LBP are fun too.
I take a neutral stance on DLC, if its decent enough I'll get it.
As for offering something new thats something that gaming needs.Whether they do or not is a different story. And as for Lorne Lanning being more talented than Hideo Kojima, that maybe so. Doesn't mean he can make a better game than him. And thats what truly matters.
Disagree if you like, but I thought it was a good read. More like this please hiphopgamer.
And MotoGP on the PSP was a massive disappointment. Hope this one is better and by the sounds of things it is^^
You made some valid points, and there are a tonne of console gamers that foolishly say silly things about PC's. Keyboard and mouse is the best option for shooters, RTS and other a few others no doubt. If they had a shoot out between PC gamers and console gamers on COD4 its a whitewash, PC gamers will annihilate console gamers.
Also, not everyone has their PC hooked up to their LCD TV. A lot of people work from their computers and the last thing they want to look at or even go nea...
If you work on a PC the last thing you really want to do is spend more time on it. But there are people that do I guess. Anyways^^
The only other shooters Iv'e enjoyed since then have been Half Life 2 and Bioshock. I liked Killzone 2 but got tired of it pretty quickly. I like them, just don't go overboard with them.
Im pretty sure PC gamers would appreciate MGS4 if it was on PC, just one example of a console game that decided to be different.
Yes consoles and PCs seem to be merging together, but I dont think that this is a good thing, because consoles seem to be losing their flavor. A lot of times I've played a game on a console just to be thinking "This would be better on PC." I want more games that justify my purchase of a console, not games that make me wish I got them on PC.
Gaming will last forever, be it PC or Console. However, if gaming continues along this road then gamers are the ones who suffer, be it on PC or console.
Man I loved those Rats maps !!!!
Yes you must get this game. Persevere with it and you will love it.
and only fanboys really seem to care.....
