For PS3 it had at the start but it was too expensive for games that they didn't care.
For PS4 the PS3 architecture also means that they would have to baiscally do another mini PS3 inside the PS4
PS5 though I am pretty sure they will go software instead of hardware which would be significantly cheaper to have PS4 BC. I am sure it will have PS4 BC in there

There is no question that this gen Sony 1st party has been amazing.
However I am worried about a trend I am seeing which is the rate they are releasing games
Perhaps because this gen is shorter than the last one but ND last gen released 4 games. Sucker punch 3 games and 3 games for GG as well. SM 2 games.
Heck MM is still working on Dreams while last gen they had 2 or 3?. Shit even PD has only released GT sport this gen.
