It would be a very bad investment for Sony if true. Take popular franchise like GTA and then limit the number of sales it would get with just Sony platforms
However if they allowed it to still be MP then that might work but then I don't see the point in doing that if it were not exclusive

F*ck that. Games like RDR2, GOW, Spiderman and Witcher 3 is how games should be made. A lot of gameplay, story i.e value for 60 a pop.
Not unfinished games like Destiny, Anthem and Division released to early with promise of more content later sold for more
It had its moments. There were a lot of new and interesting gameplay mechanics like base building and the chopper and companions good and bad. Its a 8/10 game for me and certainly the weakest of the MGS games. I didn't actually mind the open world nature. However the lack of boss fights and a good story was extremely disappointing.
Even with openworld they could still do a great good story like Witcher 3
I bloody hate how the gaming media are pulling for these mega corporations to get what these corporations want

All of us that have know gaming for a long time know how bad GaaS is for gaming for gamers and games in general.
Why there was an uproar over when MS tried to pull a fast one...
Because Sony will never abandon or focus too much on streaming over disc based games simply because they are a more global brand and they want to keep that.
Even in most Western Countries streaming is still not ideal for most people. Imagine other global markets Sony are in that don't have as good internet

The first one did really well for a reboot. In many ways it reminded me of Uncharted and part 2 they could have really gone big
However they bet on the wrong horse and had to go with MS for the second game.

No really the SP game of the decade for me. Didn't feel like playing the MP
KZ2, Warhawk and U2 were the best games with multiplayer I had last gen. Shit forgot Resistance 1 as well
I am glad. Sony should hire new upstart to do new games and then buy them out if they do well

2. New IP's games and not the same old ones from Take2
I much prefer this approach which is what they have been doing forever than going this route.
