There is only 1 reason why this game is getting some review scores that are so low.....
ITS TO GET HITS TO THEIR SITE! ... plain and simple.
Formula is: Popular game is coming out + give it a low score = contoversy which in turn = more hits.
Yeah i dont understand why this one is getting so much attention, good marketing i guess. Its almost the same exact game as the 1st Borderlands...
Havent played the new patch but glad to hear they finally made it so that lesser known maps get noticed.
For me personally its not that i hate the game...
I hate games that try to milk gamers by making a game that pretty much the same every year or two.
Examples:
Assassins creed
Call of Duty
I LOVE games that are supported for multiple years, and then after a while you get a REAL sequal that updates graphics and builds upon what made the original great.
Examples:
Twisted Metal
Battlefield 3
Key? Yum.
What did this guy expect? Its an HD version of Tony Hawk Pro skater, not a new game...
Played this game for like 2 hours before I decided it sucked.

Why is Bioshock 1 not on this list?
I remember starting Bioshock 1 and being thrown in the water and i kept staring at the screen thinking something was going to happen, then i realized it was NOT a cutseen and started playing!
Wish Diablo 3 was half as good as Diablo 1&2.....
And people like you are exactly the reason why my favorite games like Diablo are turning into unicorn smashing fairylands....

Checklist for a successfull Crysis 3
1.) Bring back the open gameplay of Crysis 1.
2.) Bring back the very smart AI from Crysis 1. (I dont understand why AI was so dumb in crysis 2...)
3.) Develope a better more gripping narrative.
4.) Be in a wooded area or jungle!
Crysis 1 had way more inteligent AI than crysis 2. If they use the AI form crysis 1 I will be VERY happy.

Iv never experienced that with Steam. But maybe i just havent bought a game that made me do that with steam.
There are alot of games you can by physical copies and then add to steam but its never been required, at least from the games iv played.
Do you have an example of a game that requires steam to be installed and running even when you buy and install the game via a physical disk?
People arent pissed at Origin because it competes with Steam....thats just dumb. Competition is healthy.
People dislike origin because EA MAKES YOU download and use origin for their games (even when you have the disk!) when there is really no need to.
I love the netflix app on the PS3. I think it plays video clearer than on my PC, and i have a pretty decent gaming pc.
