I don't believe the roomers but to play devils advocate here, its not entirely impossible.
They could have started production and still have the ability to expand the RAM. If these consoles are anything like a pc and the motherboards have extra RAM slots, all they would need to do is slide in another RAM card.
Probably not though but hey anything is possible when you don't know all the details!
At 1st I didn't think that was it because they already announced PlanetSide 2 so why would they give a big teaser for something they already announced? But if they plan to announce cross platform play with the pc and keyboard and mouse support for the PS4 then that would surprise a lot of people and make sense of the whole worlds colliding thing. It does look a lot like the PlanetSide 2 logo... only purple.
Did you even read the title? It clearly says ps4 AND Xbox One games not just Ps4...
I can tell you right now if the XB1 did REPLACE my Time Warner cable box I would buy it without thinking twice if only to stick it to Time Warner for making me rent one all these years! But unfortunately it is just a gimmick that attaches to the cable box...
That didn't work out so well for Eric Cartman and his wii...
@Buddymagoo
The AUX port is for the PS Eye camera. Sony has already stated that the camera does not use one of the 2 USB ports.
Anyone else think its funny that the XB1 GPU is named "Bonaire"... What does that sound like to you?
I didn't think that flag was considered offensive in Japan. Its the surrounding countries that Japan invaded like South Korea and China that get offended by this flag because it represents the Japanese military imperialism of the past.
In fact I think Japan still uses this flag for its Maritime Self-Defense Force.
Actually the freezes had nothing to do with bugs or early builds... It had to do with people in the background playing the game while the people on stage were also playing and sometimes they would cut back and forth thus the appearance of freezes.
This article explains it all!

To be fair a lot of the really good looking mods made for games like Skyrim and GTA require a large amount of ram to work well. Also if you are into making games on your computer it helps to have a shit ton of RAM so that you can make the game and run it before optimizing for better performance.
@JamieL
When I think "exclusive" it means that the game will not be available anywhere else... most of the excusive games Microsoft showed are also on the PC.
On top of that, games like Titan fall will most likely go to ps4 within a year due to Microsoft not owning the ip, so no Microsoft didn't have more exclusives they just painted the picture that they did by having more "timed exclusives".
No need, I can always use my Vita as a second controller! Sony said they are making it mandatory for all games besides motion games to have controls mapped to work on the vita.
@KwietStorm
I preordered about a week ago, still worried that they may let too many people preorder which could possibly lead to a 1st come 1st serve at launch scenario among those who preordered. I don't plan to be there at midnight but instead after work the next day, I don't want to be screwed out of my launch console.
Probably being paranoid but unlimited preorders kinda scare me.
EvoAnubis
Yeah I agree its not a big deal, just wanted to point out its not exactly the same as the ps4 or WiiU launch updates.
@EvoAnubis
The difference is that the Xbox One requires this update to even function whereas the PS4 and WiiU updates most likely arent required in order to use the consoles offline. With the WiiU and PS4 you can probably plug in a game and play offline immediately without the update but if you wanted to go online you require the update.
See the difference? Still not a huge deal but could be a hassle for someone who just got an xbox one at their grandparents ...
Yeah that's what I was thinking as well. I really hope they don't take more orders than they can deliver. I'll be super bummed if I don't get my console on launch because of this...
This article did a good job explaining the differences but it REALLY NEEDED MORE PICS so I could see with my eyes the differences they were pointing out. One pic of each controller is not enough!
@Omi25P
I'm pretty sure the Kinect 2 can distinguish YOUR voice from others around you, its one of the key features of the device! I don't think the algorithm would be used to detect terrorism anyways lol, there isn't money in detecting that sort of stuff. But it could easily be used to build marketing profiles about you.
It is VERY POSSIBLE, just unlikely.
You wouldnt need "100 million employees" to spy on you...
All you would need is smart software with a powerful camera that can distinguish and identify specific items and people.
Oh wait Microsoft is a software company with a camera capable of and i quote microsoft here "rocket science level stuff".
The software could be automated to form graphs in trends or even build personal profiles of things you have played or items y...
Silly N4G, that is the PS5 controller! lol Sony loves to plan ahead... jk
