I always hated the live action cut scenes.
To all the people saying MS has more exclusives id just like to say 1 thing...
Most of those "exclusive" games are on my pc!
I think people arent thinking straight here...
Instead of the IP being trashed, a dev got ahold of the Darksiders IP and even gives hints that they are considering more games and people say it was better off dead? Give them a chance!
I understand that folding@home and cloud graphics rendering are different.
I just doubt this tech will be used for cloud rendering CGI quality graphics which is why i pointed at uses like Folding@Home which seems more practical.
1. Storm Clouds (cloud service)
2. More than now (in the future)
3. Deep Computing (can make complex computations)
4. Petaflops> Teraflops (theoretically capable of petaflops)
Cloud service in the future that can make complex computations theoretically capable of petaflops.
Could be something like playstations folding@home, which has already reached over 1 petaflop in combined performance back in 2007.
I understand why they couldnt put hardware BC in the PS4.
However if they are going to have a streaming service that has the PS3 catalog of games why not have some way to register a disk based game and play it via the streaming service? Its not like they will be losing out on cash to privide this free BC service to its most loyal customers. Im sure im not alone in my unwillingness to be scammed into buying the same game twice!
Well, it will be sort of interesting to see the side by side comparisons of the same games running on ps3 vs ps4.
Well its not that console players wont enjoy the game. I just dont think that they will want to put in the time endlessly grinding the same content over and over to reach paragon lvl00 while at the same time finding loot that is worthless...
Console players tend to enjoy a game beat it and move on. I play console games as well as pc but just seems most console games arent built for longevity. Maybe this will change soon idk.
I dont think console players will embrace this type of game...
If they werent so greedy with wanting a subscription for live and so out of touch with core gamers i would be more inclined to support them...
I have had 2 360's but after halo 3 they have been collecting dust. Reason? No good exclusives that i cant get on my pc with better graphics.
But they have to focus on lowest common denominator. Ps4 will not have Kinect so we will not see many multiplatform games using it.
Look at it this way, every PS3 controller has six axis but devs dont use that very often now do they?
This just in!
Next box will run Windows 8 Metro tiles and will be navigated by Kinect 2. Oh Joy!
The last 2 do not look the same, they have different textures on the bottom of the controllers.
I kinda like the design of the prototype only because it looks like you could see the light bar while playing the game. That way if it flashes while you shoot you may actually get to see. The newer controller kinda hides the light bar.
Dont forget to tape down the shoot button....
Vibrations!
Would have been cooler if they were pterodactyls!
Still hoping for a Dino mode!
Cool, Audiosurf is a really neat game. Cant wait to see what they do with the sequel.
Its all bullcrap anyways. Reviewers usually rush through the game on easy, of course they will finish the games fast. I usually play on whatever mode i find challenging and it takes me 12 hours for a reviewers 8 hour game.
Home is a cool idea but having to download all the new rooms and update them frequently made the experience less enjoyable. If they can somehow make everything more streamlined i think it would be way cooler than it is now.
Judging by how sony clamied that the PS4 can play stuff while its still downloading the content i think this will make Home much funner to navigate.
Quote from Gearbox FX artist....
"I do wonder where the next Microsoft console will fall in the performance category. Ultimately, you have to sort of cater to the lowest common denominator."
....damnit!
So the company voted "worst company in America" is considered good hands?
