Definitely going to be one of the PS4 launch titles that I pick up. I hope they learn from their super glitchy mistakes in 3 though. While 3 was an amazing game, the numerous glitches (and eventually my Platinum breaking glitch) caused me to really not enjoy it in the end and be taken out of the experience.
Nice choices! I agree, these are all games that when you put them in and that opening sequence plays, you just get so stoked to be playing that game.
Let's see some Uncharted starring Willem Drake, or Nathan Dafoe.
As long as it's only Dafoe that is dominating the industry.

The first one with the stick through the throat has to be one of the worst... Certainly is a much more mature Tomb Raider.
Sickly awesome. It's sad that I'm going to play poorly on purpose at times just to see these, or start out on the hardest difficulty available.

I'm planning on it, unless one of them comes with some stupidly silly trophy like Grand Theft Auto 4's "Rank 10 in multiplayer" trophy....
I have to reserve judgement until I see the full functionality of the new UI. I can't imagine that they would take a step backwards, so hopefully it will be intuitive and awesome and just look a hell of a lot prettier. I wonder what kinds of "Themes" and backgrounds and such we can download for it too, and how that will affect the way it looks and sounds. I love my MGS4 XMB theme.

I know what the article was portending, I was simply making an over-the-top parody of the future of microtransactions. When you pay $60 for a game, you expect to get the full game, but if they follow the model that has been laid out by cheaper mobile games (or even F2P), we may very well see paying premiums for things that have been included for years.
What the article is regaling (pay to skip) is also just as absurd. Why are you paying to skip content that you paid to play?...
Woo! Trophies on free DLC are always good. I hate that the single trophy for the additional stage can't be unlocked unless you buy the actual DLC. You cannot unlock it in online play.
