Looks like this will be a "pass" for me. I'm interested in spending my time with good high quality games. This one feels... mediocre at best.

Exclusives. All we need are exclusive games not available anywhere else, we had a good start, but a lot of those got ported anyway (Batman, Assassin's Creed..)
@gamedebater - I wasn't saying shooters. Not at all. I'd love some RPGs on my Vita. Just unique ones, not ones I can play elsewhere.
How about Monster Rancher? I could deal with another Monster Rancher game.
Wishful thinking, but imagine if instead of releasing two versions of Pokemon on 3DS, they released one of them on Vita and one of them on 3DS, then allowed them to talk to each other somehow via servers (utilizing Sony's help, we know Ninty's online sucks). Both party's win Oh. Em. Gee. That would be awesome. But like I said, wishful thinking.
No more ports to it. Vita needs something all its own to truly become a desired product. If you can get it elsewhere, more people won't buy.
Great story. I think we've all gone through a period similar to this, of despising games, questioning the love that we have for the medium for one reason or another, and then making a bright return with a whole new outlook.

I agree with this, has some redeeming factors, but overall isn't anything special or amazing, and has a number of glaring flaws and polish issues.
It should be expected that someone who critiqued games would be the one to come out and make an incredible one! :)
