If this is true then X1 will soon be able to run all games 1080P 60FPS no problem.....right? However, I believe this to be more overhyped MS PR. Put up or shut up MS. I am tired of all this BS PR. I know they want to sell more consoles but Dam#.

Well, well. Sounds like this tech is distant future. Talk is cheap MS. Seeing is believing, show us this power under real world conditions, not in a controlled lab environment. Until then, it's just MS flapping their gums again trying to sell more X1 consoles and give those who already have one some kind of hope that the weaker X1 will someday be more powerful than multiple high end PC's. REALLY! WTFE! LOL Keep that PR spin moving MS, seems like there are just enough gullible Kool aid...

If the games graphics are not very demanding then of course X1 can run it at 1080P. Games that require less processing power to run such as Mario, X1 could hit 1080P with no problem, even on it's weaker hardware. Duh! It all depends on how demanding the game is.

For me, resolution isn't Titan Falls biggest issue. The Generic looking graphics of Titan Fall would look bad at any resolution. After playing TF on my X1, I sometimes go to COD Ghosts on my PS4 and wow can you tell a difference. Game play aside, Ghosts blows TF away graphically and runs at 1080P 60FPS. TF looks like a cross between last gen and next gen. graphics. Great game though.

2.5 million sold in March is a little optimistic. Maybe 1.5 to 2.0 million copies sold in March and thats globally in my opinion. Preorders in US for PC, X1, and 360 combined is barely over 500,000. Hype doesn't always equal sales.

I completely agree. Titan Fall can't compete with COD in sales if it doesn't go multiplatform. COD Ghosts made 1 Billion dollars in the first 24 hours. No way TF will do that and the preorder numbers though good aren't near good enough to make 1 Billion dollars in first 24 hours. Also, yes I have an X1, I played the beta and have TF preordered. However TF is overhyped. Plain and simple. TF2, if it is available on all systems would have a much better chance at competing. I know Res...

Titan Fall is a hot topic because it is so overhyped. Plain and simple. I played the beta and I have it reserved. However, people saying it will compete with COD are really overhyping it. COD is multiplatform. COD ghosts made 1 Billion dollars in the first 24 hours. No way TF will compete with that. If TF 2 goes multi plat then we can have a serious discussion about it competing with COD sales numbers. Being a MS exclusive has automatically prevented it from having sales numbers like COD. TF ...

It's not just about the resolution as much as it is about the power gap that the resolution difference points out. It takes a lot more power to push 1080P native than 720P native(upscaled to 1080P). A LOT more power.

PS4 games at 1080P native 60FPS: COD Ghosts, Tomb Raider, Kill Zone and several others I can't think of right off hand. No matter what the specs of a PS4 game are, the weaker X1 always runs a lower spec. Low res and textured games like Rayman may be similar because the specs are so low that both systems can easily run a less demanding game. Wolfenstien is rumored to have some parity on both systems because of lower textures, lighting effects etc. A game that needs less processing power to...

Yep, it is a big deal. The consumers voting with their wallets are saying it is a big deal by purchasing more PS4's than X1's. Even here in the US. So people can say it's not a big deal until they are blue in the face. The fact of the matter is, more gamers are buying PS4 because of this and other reasons as well. So yes, it is definitely a big deal....if you want to sell the most consoles that is.

Sounds to me like MS is being arrogant as usual. Who knows what devs like this may accomplish in the future. MS is snobbishly burning a lot of bridges without considering the fact that in the future these devs could become a part of or create a AAA game or studio. Sony is doing it right. Treat everyone with respect. Whether or not you need them at that particular time is irrelevant. You might not need them now but you may need them in the future. MS slaps these guys in the face and then when ...

TF beta was fun. Didn't really "wow" me like the original Halo. I play FPS all the time, TF is great but a little overhyped.

It wont stay fresh and new forever. With bots it could get old after a few weeks or couple months.

All of these people who still believe the cloud BS. lol The game is on 360 and PC as well any system can use the cloud for chrissake. The cloud is a fancy term for internet.

4396d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

I agree but I don't think it will be a system seller. People who do not want an X1 but want TF, will just get it on 360 or PC. People who already have plans to buy an X1 later this year may decide to move their planned purchase date up to March to coincide with the release of TF because they like the game, but again, in these scenarios the game TF is not selling the X1. So, the question is, how many people will buy a $500 system that they weren't planning on buying in the first place ...

For me, what makes a PvP MP shooter so addictive and fun is the human opponents and team mates, the simple fact that it is Player vs Player. Respawn wanted to do something so cool and revolutionary that they may have lost sight of the core ingredients that make PvP so great. Those ingredients being; PvP, balance, fun, framerate and connection. The first and most important one being that it remains PvP. The decision to deviate from the pure PvP formula is a risky one. Titan Fall could work wit...

Think about it. Most of the time you will be shooting mindless AI bots. It will be ok and seem exciting at first but will get old quick. The appeal of PvP is that it is PvP. Killing bots takes away from this games staying power. It will be hot item at first and then the flame will begin to die down. MP just isn't the same with a ton of bots. You tube videos of, "look at my 100 kill streak of AI bots". Boring and unimpressive. Now do that against actual gamers, and that would be ...

Titan Fall is a more demanding game when it comes to processing power than BF4.
