Wanting Legendary gear with 30 light instead of 27 so that I can reach level 30 is what I want, not what I need. Denying players access to this gear simply because they don't enjoy playing Raids is an attempt to push them in to playing something they don't want or like to play. A match making option would be helpful. Judiciously confining players to a lower level cap simply because they choose not to play raids is wrong IMO. Plain and simple.
I like to play destiny solo and at times I have two friends and we play as a fire team. I do not however have six friends who all have destiny and play the same times as I do with my schedule. I have played in the Raid with some friends of my friend etc. I have absolutely no desire to pursue raids. If it had match making maybe. I am level 29 and am perfectly content there as long as I don't have to mess with all of the headaches of getting six people together who have similar schedules as...
Gaming Bolt has officially earned it's spot as one of the BS sites in my book. All credibility lost. Anything coming from them, I will not believe until more trusted sites can verify. I mean, WOW, out right blatant misinformation. Oh well, for me it's good bye Gaming Bolt. I prefer accurate unbiased information. Game on mofo's.
This game is not challenging to either platforms hardware capabilities. So of course there were no issues, that goes without saying or so I thought. For some reason this article feels the need to specify that the dev had no development issues with the X1 running 1080P on a game that is not very demanding. LOL. PR spin and MS $ at work.
The ignorance of the SE individual being quoted here is humorous. First of all he is quoted as saying that he "was shocked" that PS gamers were upset because the sequel was on Xbox only. REALLY! Is his lack of understanding the gaming community so shallow and clueless that he was "shocked" by that? Yes, judging by his comment his lack of understanding is obvious and reveals utter incompetence on his part. That's not all. He then assumes that people who like games make ...
I believe most will say good bye and go on to the tons of other games releasing this year and next. No biggie, plenty of other great games to play.
TR is not a system seller and is nothing more than a somewhat desperate move by MS to try and save some face. The only thing this deal will do is prevent PS gamers from playing it for a while or at all. TR wont help X1 sales and it wont increase sales of the game for X1. Those sales were going to happen either way. MS is giving PS gamers the bird but other than that......it doesn't improve X1 sales or help MS in any way.
Sunset Overdrive.....another game I am not even remotely interested in. Thanks MS but I need some more games I actually like for my X1. The MCC will be great but Sunset Overdrive is being pushed hard by MS PR. Another average exclusive game that will be a disappointment IMO.
Titan Fall, The cloud, and DX12 all have failed in an overhyped effort to help X1 overtake PS4 in sales. Now EA Access? lol Same old song and dance again, only this time EA Access is supposed to be what sky rockets X1 sales or makes it a "more viable choice"???? REALLY! Not a chance IMO. These repeated game changer claims failing over and over again has become the norm. EA Access will appeal only to a small percentage of gamers and for the most part will not be a major deciding fact...
Neither this or PS Now appeal to me. Madden 15 comes out in August which makes Madden 25' outdated. It looks as if the only games on this service will be older ones or ones that start selling poorly. So EA is using it in an attempt to recover some of that revenue. Not a bad deal but doesn't appeal to me personally. Trying a game out 5 days early....I can wait. 10% off digital downloads....nah. I can buy hard copy and trade it in at Gamestop later and get better than 10% of my original...
Same here when it comes to console games. I will buy the best version even if it is a small difference. However, as a matter of principal if both versions are about the same or devs have invoked parity. I buy the PS4 version because of Sony developing hardware focused primarily on gaming first, not entertainment first. My heart sank when I saw MS E3 2013 conference. I was going to get the X1 and an xbox was going to be my primary console as it had always been. Then I watched the MS conference...
I have both systems, I play the PS4 more. There is no shortage of games for PS4. Software sales for PS4 are recently higher than for X1. For my X1 I can't wait for The MCC. I always have been an Xbox guy from the first Xbox with Halo to the 360. This gen I went with PS4 primarily because of the great upcoming games lineup, plenty of third and first party games and because from the beginning PS4 (Sony) have demonstrated a commitment to games and gamers and as a gamer I recognized and appre...
PS4 still considerably more powerful over all. It's good that MS is trying to squeeze every little bit of juice they can out of the X1 to help developers out. 1080P and 60FPS on both PS4 and X1 versions of a game does not necessarily mean the consoles are on equal ground or that the power gap is small. Mario Kart 8 on WII U runs 1080P 60FPS because the graphics etc. are not demanding enough resources to be a drag on the system. My point being. If a game has same Rez and FPS on both system...
PC is in a class of it's own. Comparing PC to PS4 and X1, is like comparing the top NFL team to two of the top college football teams that have had a long historical rivalry. Can you imagine how annoyed viewers would be if they were watching the pregame show for the college football championship and every five minutes one of the commentators would randomly announce that....."neither of these teams compare to the NFL world champion Baltimore Ravens! If you really care about football t...
I have an old VCR and it does look similar to X1.
If someone continuously has to say something repeatedly, to convince others it is true.....then it's usually because what they are saying is not entirely accurate. If it were, there would be no need for them to bring it up over and over again. Let it go MS. If X1 is all about the gaming, then that will become obvious to gamers all in good time. Continue to talk about and advertise your games. That is what will get the gamers attention. A statement by Nadella wont convince anyone of anythi...
I played the entire game of TLOU on PS3. Preordered TLOU Remastered for the PS4 as soon as it was available. Can't wait to play through it again in 1080P 60FPS on PS4. On the Xbox One, The Master Chief Collection, same story. Played through all of those Halo games and can't wait to play them again in 1080P 60FPS. Smart decision making on the part of Sony and MS remaking these awesome games. These are some of the best games of all time in my opinion.
LOL, it's just a metaphor but I see your point, it really wasn't needed.
Every time X1 version resolution and frame rates for games are questioned developers get evasive and side step the issues because of MS money being thrown at them. Being evasive is not much different than being misleading. They already have a pretty good idea if not full knowledge of what the final rez will likely be or not be. Sledgehammer is probably being quiet because they know it will not be 1080p for X1, otherwise they would speak up. Not being straight up about what they realistically ...
All up to date, unbiased, well informed individuals know that this is no longer a real debate. It was set in stone long ago, all said and done. The PS4 is significantly more powerful for gaming than the X1. Only those individuals who are in denial or biased are left to argue thier apologetics or denial. What devs do with the hardware for particular games is another variable altogether. For example some devs are paid by MS to ensure parity, meaning the PS4 version is nerfed to the same level a...
