30fps is not next gen. Xbox X should have mandated 60fps and then resolution. Resolution minimum, 1080p. Over the years I have completely given up on consoles doing 60fps across the board. I went to PC recently because of the inability or unwillingness of the console industry to make this happen. When or if this ever does happen, I may return to the console scene. 4K native and 60fps. The fps alone made it worth while to me. At this time with all of the available technology 30fps is a joke. playable but unsatisfying.
4K @ 30FPS. Yep, that is pretty much what I expected. Consoles don't have enough CPU under the hood to do the job. That is unless the game is easy on the hardware, like Forza etc. etc.
I wanted a 60fps console. FPS first, then resolution.
Scorpio like the PS4 has a weak processor, for many games this what can limit how many frames per second a game can run. Digital Foundry talks about this at the 2 minute mark in this video.

There is no Bioware. Bioware is simply a title currently used by EA that used to belong to a great team of developers but is now, no more. The name is there, the talent is not.

All consoles receive some hate. However, MS seems to overhype and mislead customers the most. I remember MS saying that with the power of the cloud a single Xbox 1 would have the power of three Xbox 1's. This was misleading because the infrastructure needed to achieve this over the internet did not and still does not exist. So I spent some time trying to explain to the hardcore MS fans why it was misleading and wouldn't work. They said MS is smart, you are dumb etc. etc. In the end......
It will be native 4K. The Scorpio's Graphical detail and frame rate will be sacrificed to achieve 4K on many of the games that are currently already pushing even the high end PC's to their limits.

ME 1,2 & 3 I played and loved all of them. The people who made the first 3 are not with Bioware anymore. Andromeda was and is trash in comparison to the originals. The Mass Effect series died after ME3. The next ME after Andromeda? Like I said, There is no more ME IMO. It may bare the title Mass Effect but that is where the similarities end.
I trust Bethesda. One of the few good developers that are left. If I were given a list of developers and told to choose the one that I felt most consistently delivered adequate, quality, content and value. Bethesda is #1 IMO.
Scorpio will not start out as a mass market console. That will continue to be the Xbox One S. The Scorpio is a premium product that will be priced around $699.99. As time passes and the Scorpio drops in price it will begin to over take the Xbox One S as the top seller for the Xbox division.
This is the same MS that sad "the cloud" would make one X1 as powerful as three X1's.......right? I said it then and I will say it again. Enough talk, I will wait and see for myself.

Is it checker boarded or native 4K? Either way 30FPS is pretty standard for the X. It will be the most powerful console on the market but at the same time seems weak.
