Its just amazing. I kinda lost hope for this guy, because to him, a story so complex couldn't get inside his brain. To him, games are all about pew pew pew, gunfights, I win! pew pew pew.
Let the haters play "brain dead, waah! aww, I'm too stupid to understand the story," while true gamers take in the awesomeness of MGS4, and its unrivaled storyline.
no, he meant that seeing how badly developed COD3 was, he realized how badass the other developer of the series was, or how much better they were compared to the developer of COD3.
And Treyarch developed COD3, Activision published it.
As long as theres a cap on download limits, I agree, Digital Distribution will be something to avoid. You not only pay for the content, but you have to pay the internet provider for going over your download limit. Staying with physical mediums would be a more viable option, so as to stay away from unwanted fines and charges.
I've never played an MGS game before, so i'm clueless about the story.
Should I get it anyway? Will the story deviate me too much?
I saw MGS4 on the shelves in Target today also, another U.S. retailer.

Now whats left is for the power to be uncaged, and used in its full potential. So far, no game has done that yet. But looking down the road, there are many opportunities for the Playstation 3 to revolutionize video gaming with the Cell Processor.
I've seen one of those 120Hz tv's in CircuitCity and Best Buy, but it was a Samsung tv. Blu-Ray looks sharp and all, but I didn't get used to the framerate. The characters looked like moving snippets from a comic book, and CGI looked even more like CGI. I thought the motion picture looked fake, but thats my opinion.
But for gaming, thats a whole different story. I would really like to try one of the more marvelous looking HD games on one of those TV's.
