Yeah it was 1 million unique users logged in to play. Pretty good for a beta.
The game should see a lot of people playing compared to other games that are not named battlefield or call of duty. Just as a comparisons sake, blackops hit over 14 million unique users last months (includes people who make new accounts)

This is a fail all around. Even if i buy the game new, its my copy that i own. If i choose to sell it the person buying should also be able to play online.

@deadpoole, you seem to forget that india is a developing nation and that more then 40% of the 1.2 billion population you mentioned live below the poverty line.

Although i dont have the privilege of owning a 360, i know for a fact the Halo multi-player is the most polished and 'skill' required game on consoles. That was Bungie's legacy, will be interesting to see what this new studio can do.

Reason it didnt sell well? Its a niche game, doesn't appeal to everyone like a call of duty or battlefield. Only certain players will enjoy kz3 controls/gameplay/mp etc.

Im a long time CoD player and have invested a lot of time in the past few days for the UC3 beta. Currently at level 24 and have unlocked mostly everything you can. I think the beta is great, but as a full time replacement for COD? the jury is still out for me and most of my friends on my list and in real life. Theres some issues with the party system and generally getting a group of friends together to play which bothered me a bit with the Beta. Hopefully those are fixed in the final release....

lol, funny isnt it you must have played the game a lot to first of all know what the avg player count for blackops usually is, then you must have played it after UC3 beta came out to know how much it has changed, you fail. A lot of people play blackops...
this is n4g, where ps3 fanboys self proclaim all exclusives before they release to be the best games ever made. I dont see how Resistance 3 is different from the FPS pack, yet i dont see any hate comments about it being "generic" "rehash" etc like you see for CoD and Halo and if they are, the person will be flagged as trolling or get millions of disagrees.
lets give credit where credit is due, Rainbow Six Vegas 1 on the PS3 was a very solid launch title and had really good MP at the time. I really enjoyed it. Never played RSV2 but if the developers are trying to innovate why not support them and have hope? All i see is people bashing cod etc for not innovating call a spade a spade. LETS HOPE this game will be something FRESH.

MOST IMPORTANTLY! The PC version doesnt have the exclusive pre order DLC fiasco that the console version are having. On PC people can easily share the codes.
It clearly doesnt console to console, but if you want the true battlefield experience you need to get in on PC. The PC version is miles better then PS3/Xbox. 64 players, dedi servers, full stat tracking, support, instant patching etc. Too bad i need to make a new PC to run it.
Anyone who think activision is scared of EA and BF3 is just plain silly. Sure they know they will have a tougher time earning the gamer dollar but they have such a huge install base on consoles the game will easily outsell BF3.
Let me put it this way,
MW2 Sales (ps3 + 360) - 21 million
Black Ops (ps3 + 360) - 22 million
Bad Company 1 + 2 total sales on ps3 AND xbox is < 7 million.
