If by the fundamental difference between a "beta" and demo you are reffering to graphics or build quality you are totally wrong. Cause infact there is no differences. Ive seen betas with the final build of the game available like (uncharted 3 and gears 3) ive also seen DEMOS with prealpha builds released like god of war 3 and killzone 2 and ive seen demos with the final build of the game released like MGS4 etc.

The 1TB drives on the market currently won't fit in a PS3. They're 12.5mm so are slightly too thick. PS3 needs to be 2.5" & 9.5mm.

You guys do understand the reason a game like uncharted looks as stunning as it does is because of amazing art direction and production values. Technically its not some "graphical beast".
Whether what DICE is saying is true or not, for the majority of gamers of which have played the beta on CONSOLES, who dont follow news feeds as closely, they will probably be swayed away from purchasing BF3 just because of the BETA. this is unfortunate but DICE took a risk and it may burn them.

Couldnt care less for a game like this. Its all about the Single player for me and most people. I dont think many will even play the MP. It isnt anything special.

First part of your comment was bang on. But i dont agree that the consoles versions of BF3 offer more then the console version of Call of Duty.
The PC version of BF3 surely is a better overall product then any console version of call of duty. AND it has NOTHING to do with the graphics.
But to each is their own. If you can play BF3 not caring that the better (significantly better) version of the game is available another platform. Then by all means enjoy yours...
Its funny, comparing the 360 and PS3 version is pointless. If someone who has a console ever played the PC version, they would never go and play the console version again. I guarantee you that. This is like two homeless people arguing over who has a shinier penny while the pc gamer is like the guy who gave them the penny.
Its all about the gameplay... yeah your right, and the gameplay from PC vs Consoles is quite different. The 60FPS vs 30FPS difference is huge. People playing or watching vids of console footage need to go see / play the PC version. You'll see what the big difference is.
NOT TO MENTION, it takes 10 mins sometimes to get into a game on my ps3. On my friends pc, we were able to get into games instantaneously.
Console version play terrible compared to the PC version, 30FPS vs 60 FPS makes a huge difference. For people who dont believe, go on youtube and see for yourself.
