Great review, definitely the most in-depth and probably the longest too, So it lives up to it's title.
I especially like the photos and the fact the screenshots were taken off camera, added an element of fun you don't get too often :)
Thanks for sharing :)
Great article, thanks for sharing.
:)
@OffRoad
Haha, Yes
I've been found out, lol
@Lig
Haha, no chance of that mate, especially not after SoT spoilt the fun.
This is true, almost 19GB, not helpful for gamers on metered broadband or slower connections.
The only positive was that it prevented me having to watch 50 Shades Darker with the missus, as the download crippled the streaming in our house :)
@Mechlord
****what d your comments have to do with the fact that IamTylerDurden1 thinks 7 is a bit too much?****
Tyler has said that HE thinks that a 7 is too high of a score and that the game is being protected, My comments suggests that if HE wants to give an opinion, HE should play the game.
****do we all need to play every game in order to make an opinion wether a given score is higher or lower than it should be?****
@Tyler
Have you actually played the game, or is your constant reposting of the same or similar comment in every Sea of Thieves article simply due to your own insecurities?
I HAVE played the game and whilst personally I think that a lot of the criticism that SoT is receiving is valid and the game could absolutely use some more content, weapon variety and a deeper, more robust quest and progression mechanic, Your constant hating on the game through negative...

"If we ask for the video ads to be removed or we'll all bond together and avoid visiting N4G for a day or two—which eventually takes money out of someones's pockets—N4G management might finally listen"
Jamiereleases has already said that he's gonna take it up with the adOPS team tomorrow, its further up this comments thread, it IS a problem but at least give them a chance to fix it before staging a union style walkout lol.
@Sub,
I think you may have missed the point of my post, it was a parody of the ongoing fanboy wars that occur here and on numerous other gaming websites :)
It wasn't meant to be anything other than a fun take on an age old argument.
@Divine
I recently picked up an Analogue NT mini imported from the US, it plays all the original NES cartridges and outputs to HDMI it's also well built made from machined aluminium and is a superb addition to anyones retro catalogue if its something you're still interested in.
It doesn't use emulation so its 100% accurate unlike some of the many clones available right now including the NES mini.
They've recently release...
Was Heroquest the one based off the Games Workshop boardgame of the same name?
@Orion
My first computer was a ZX Spectrum 48k with rubber keys given to me by my older sister when she went to off to university.
I had hundreds of games for it, some I got off magazine covers, others I programmed myself using guides in the mags (this took an age) others I pirated from friends using my dads tape to tape stereo...
One day my old faithful gave up the ghost so I asked for a +2 or +3 for my birthday, I waited patiently for...
I'm ashamed to say I didn't play this on the PS4 when it came out, so I decided to preorder for the X this morning after reading this article and checking out a few reviews.
The funny thing is, its installing now...
Is it usual for games to pre load this far out from release, Its a 15.39GB download if anyone can compare with the PS4 install size?
100% Agree,
The first game was good but had a few rough edges,
It seems that Koei Tecmo really listened to the feedback from the community as almost every criticism levelled at the original has been fixed for the sequel.
Thanks for sharing.
@rain
You'd be far better off putting across you opinion on the actual article hosted on Kotaku rain,
Theres a lively discussion going on over there, with some great points been made for both the for and against camps.
Jason himself has weighed in and replied to many commenters, and judging by some of the posts many of them appear to work in the industry just as you do.
I think you'll be wasting your time atte...
@Radical
Lol, You win :D
Disagree,
C64 has no decent exclusives, Spectrum 48k has way more,
The enhanced remake of Horace goes skiing is gonna kill any game available on the C60'bore,
Plus the "Beast" Spectrum +2 has a 3.5 MHz CPU and 128 KB of Memory.
;)
Really interesting article, and a great insight into the development of the game in it's early stages.
Thanks for Sharing :)
Wow, This is really well done.
The attention to detail is incredibly impressive.
Thanks for sharing :)
I want this game!
I have no idea whats being said, but it looks great regardless!
Is there an English version planned, If not I'll cross my fingers for English subtitles on the Japanese release,
Thanks for sharing :D
