You're right it doesn't, however...numerous developers have also chimed in and confirmed that this IS the case, it has also been reported by multiple reputable news sites.

Not appropriate Element, This article has nothing to do with Microsoft or Xbox.
He comes across as a decent bloke that's put 100% into the game, and is pleased that other people 'get' his vision for the series.
I can fully understand the emotion behind putting five years of your life into something and seeing the fruits of your labour ripen and be recognised by others in the industry.
The game is very, very good. In my opinion this game is one of many good reasons to own a PlayStation 4 console.

Not because I dislike GOW, because personally I think the game is incredible and I'm having a blast playing it, but because you have the strength of character to state your opinion and the morale courage to stick by what you have written. Too many people pander to the masses afraid to upset the status quo, but if that's your opinion I respect it, and I respect you more for being honest about how YOU feel about the game.

On the plus side, the game is f*****g amazing I've been dealing out death for the past couple of days, the reviews are spot on, the game is very, very good - The team deserves all the positive press they're getting.
It looks like a PlayStation move controller is printed on the outside of the case.

I'm saying this as someone that owns both a PS4 and a Switch.
Super Mario Odyssey (which I'm playing right now) is a masterpiece. The game uses incredibly innovative gameplay elements and is constantly providing new ways to play, some titles would form the basis of an entire game around a mechanic that Odyssey discards after one level. It's the best game I have played since NieR: Automata.
