Yuzu emulator is make some very fast progress compared to others. Getting Links awakening to this state so fast is impressive .I see they've almost got Mario Odyssey perfected. Finished on switch but wouldn't mind a second play through at 4k60, especially after seeing what else they could do with Breath of the wild with graphical enhancements that really made that game look amazing at high res.
The AI in wildlands was just as generic and terrible but with the downside of once your stealth was blown everyone would magically know where you are until you hid again unlike in breakpoint. Gameplay wise it feels like what Wildlands should have been, albeit still missing the mark. And no, your not funneled into the store at all. The store is damn near pointless. Every item in the store you can get in the game bar a few outfits and you can get all the items in game with damn near minimal eff...
I can understand people not liking the store but 4 is really low. This game is a basic extension of Wildlands with added stealth mechanics and a fairly pointless gear score mechanic.
Wildlands also got a lot of low and mediocrity reviews aswell. Seems inline as Destructoid gave wildlands a 2.5.
Playing through with a friend and I'm having some good simple fun. Nothing too revolutionary though. I think this game already had it's core audience waiting from wi...
To each is there own I guess. I got gamepass ultimate for 6 Months for my Xbox and PC for $50.
Seemed like much better value
This. The main missions were actually quiet good but in between them you had to do the same thing over and over to fill a pointless bar up to unlock the next mission. There's a PC mod that drastically lowers it which is nice, but like Mafia 2, they should just remove it completely and just stick to creating a straight forward story without pitstops.
They've been giving away games every fortnight all year. They said this from the beginning. First week was subnautica.
I've grabbed every free game so far but nothings changed now that batman is next on the list.
"Miller also discussed a trend in voice acting where studios are casting ethnically-specific actors, which is simultaneously a benefit and an annoyance.
“You’re like, ‘Oh, I didn’t get called in because I was good, you just called me in because you need a brown girl’,” said Miller. “That being said, it doesn’t hurt to get auditions, but I’d like to be considered for more than just being the token brown girl.”

Exactly. I've noticed that N4G especially has a heavy playstation bias and seems to always be a me/us vs them mentality which is just silly.
Seems a lot of the 'gamers' spend more effort in hating on a rival companies box rather then looking at the games themselves and taking a step back. As you said, not every game has to be your kind of game but that doesn't make it 'shit' or 'a failure'. My guess based on some of the arguments that happen here is t...
C'mon now
Gears of war was some great old school bombastic action, but it was no God of War.
Still, both cN voexist and find their audiences of not an audience that plays and likes both. Think people here focus too kuch on picling teams and not the games. Loved em both.
Modern game Journalism has a problem with rampart retardation. Where's the article on that?
@Specter229
It's relevant to your comment it delves deeper on your "only a minority PC cares about the exclusivity" comment in the sense that a majority of 'gamers' would purchase products based on fun factor and price of entry and little else.
This guy gets it. Some people take gaming way to seriously. Like Gaming, a recreational activity, should dictate your integrity and morals. It's no different to comments like "Not gonna get my sale!", like anyone outside of fanboy bases or tiny population pools like here actually gives a shit. Buy a commercial product or don't, simple.
I'd bet a large majority don't read gaming articles or really even follow gaming news and only care about if a game is fun for them and worth the price tag and that would be it.
I didn't mind it for a mindless coop game. The major downside of wildlands for me was the lack of any real stealth mechanics, which from what I have played of this seems to be a lot better in that regard. The beta offerings were so slim and unoptimized that I feel it's too soon to tell if it will succeed or not. Not sure about console as I haven't seen it but on PC it felt like a step up. The characters so far seemed super generic though which was expected.
I like that th...
My thoughts exactly. It's a good estimate but there are a lot of variables and a lack of solid definitive numbers.
Correct. I didn't see the link on my phone from The tweet, my mistake. It's still not difinitive as it states it's all estimates based on user review numbers and the revenue gathered from some of the devs and steam group numbers which really does seem like it may produce a loose stimate.
It's a shame steam no longer publish real raw numbers so we could see a good comparison to what the epic store effect is along with larger data on effecting variables suvh a...
Whats the raw data? What's the source?
I belive steam years ago announced they no longer show sales data so are these based off comments? Reviews?
I think everyone would of spotted that voice. That voice is iconic and unique. Love Remedy.
Eh. I like playing on my switch but at the same time after playing breath of the wild on PC for my second play through I can see the appeal. You have a chance to play a game you might own and love but at a much higher graphical fidelity and in some cases at much improved performance with the option of graphical mods and enhancements.
For cemu it was good because it saves me digging out the old consoles.
