@ForROME - I agree in the sense that you can tell a difference but as technology progresseses, will we really be able to tell that 240 or 480 fps is better? I really don't think that will be the case.
Quite seriously, I think Rob is right in that the moderator had no right to post it on the public forum. He was just trying to force Rob to make some kind of response by using the community. His arguments and points are valid but it is definitely something that needs to be discussed to Rob and not slandered across the internet. I'm sure most of you can tell his issues were mostly on the moderation side, which is something that the community really shouldn't care about anyway.
I already have a key from gamestop for being a loyal customer. It's in an e-mail I got from them :D.
The movie isn't about the videogame industry. It's about this person's life. Who just happened to have a tie into the gaming industry.
I can't help but feel like this is of the console version. Because on PC I know there is a map editor where you can create your own missions. These missions can then be played online with other people or just by yourself. You can add in all the vehicles and decided what type of soldier the player gets to be(aka taking out what gun you get complaint). Alot of the complaints can be removed via the PC version.
As far as mission design and realism goes,go ahead and rip on them.
I bought and played the first two. It was fun. But I'll pass this time around. There are just too many other games worth my money. Especially when it still looks like Wots 2.
All other reviewers have had the ability to overlook most of the for mentioned issues he brings up. It's like he was trying to tear the game up the whole time. I'd take this review with a grain of salt but won't ignore it completely.
I can't help but think this no name blog was made by someone who works for gamestop. I mean, it doesn't even mention the pre-order bonuses from anywhere else. Just gamestop.
The internet is really good about exploding small things into the masses. Too bad no one ever exposed EGM for their comment "I'll eat Killzone 2 if it looks this good."
I planned on buying it but this changed my mind...

That was great.
Am I the only one that this is sony asia getting things US and UK already have? Because, we can register our consoles and check our friends list online already.
That's pretty cool.
You can't add your edge card people. The coupon says "Not valid with any other offer".
I had no idea the i-phone can't blu-tooth. This may change my decision, as it's an expensive phone, so I assumed and expected it'd just have everything.
Anyway, any idea if the blu-tooth ability will be public in the update?
What a misleading title. I thought it implied the ruining of a company.
@ Fantasy Star
I'm aware of this but it's really the first time these type of games have been marketed heavily to console gamers. I know Operation flashpoint came out on the xbox but there wasn't too much marketing.
And just as you said, the niche crowd picked it up. At the very least, people will be exposed to a realistic game and realize how arcadey their current "realistic" games are if they don't like it. At best, the niche market will be expanded and ...
I've always been an Operation Flashpoint Fan. Maybe now it can become popular to the masses.
Arma was a let down but I believe it was because I didn't play it as long as I did flashpoint when it came out.
I will say the soundtrack for Arma was sweet and it was a good game. I just didn't play as long as I thought I would.
That sure is a nice screenshot from bionic commando. It makes me think it'll better than I originally thought.
It's not TDM, it's domination.
