If I remember right, the last game to do this sucked horribly. Hopefully this is an improvement on the technology.
Because the very best they can do is determine a location. And chances are that they've managed to go through hundreds of locations by now and who knows how many proxy's. Even if they determine the location, determining which human did it is a whole 'nother story. Especially when that location isn't under their jurisdiction.

Your explanation of cloud is only one use of a "cloud". What the journalist is referring to is something like Onlive where you don't even download the game or run it. You're just playing a feed from the onlive servers.

Agreed, Battlefield is in no way a copy of COD. They both play very differently online. Battlefield is more team based and the vehicles make for a very different dynamic.
