They have been going backwards for awhile now. When the real infinity ward left to form respawn the innovation and talent went with it.
We really shouldn't be ok with every piece of tech needing some kind of patch just to make the shit work right. It's one thing to get a patch that adds features it's another thing entirely to get a patch to fix something that should have been fixed during testing. Just like I don't understand how someone could want a system that is underpowered overpriced and has zero games unless you count a god of war clone, a racing game where the most adverse racing condition is clear and sunny, and a 15 year old fighting game no one asked for. All in glorious 720p.
Has anyone actually played the SP for COD in the last 3-4 years? I'm gonna tell you that the SP campaign for COD has sucked since the real infinity ward crew decided it was better to be screwed by EA then f**ked by Activision.
I agree with you statix but the reality is respawn will somehow have to break away from EA to be able to do something other than Titanfall. The big time publishers love to beat dead horses. It sucks that Respawn seems to be in the same situation with EA that they were in with Activision; Being told when and what game to make and what system it's going to be made for.

guess what, It's a goddamn online only game which means there is really no story line to speak of so a year from now when Titanfall 2 comes out on PS4 we'll all be on the same level story wise. There would really be no reason to get Titanfall 1 at that point. Don't get me wrong this is a big win for microsoft but it's still not a big enough reason for a microsoft hater like myself to buy an xbone.

hate to burst your bubble but this isn't some obscure technical aspect, if it were you wouldn't see the resolution listed on every t.v. you buy. In fact 1080 has been a selling point for t.v.'s for about 10 years now so I think it's about time that our video game consoles take advantage of it.
