Hey, Seattle boy, I live in Seattle too...do me a favor and stop giving us Seattlites a bad name, it's bad enough our Seahakaws are bad this year, but to put up with nonesense from someone like you, I would expect stupidity from the East coast, not from a tech savy area like the PNW...GTFO.

Yes, I totally agree...Also, did anyone catch this in the review?
"Tight gunplay, exciting set piece moments, and a more focused narrative than its primary competitor help to make this the best shooter campaign since Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare."...This is so true.
Been playing a lot of multiplayer, and time has been flying by...I know single player has been considered average, but honestly I still think its fun...I bought Battlefield 3 to bring the pain online anyways, as I always do, and it's unmatched in that department.
When I brought the game home I told my wife I had to stick in something...and then there she goes getting all up in arms and claims I'm asking too much!
Then you haven't played BF3 Team Deathmatch...it's so chaotic and fast, it's (almost) too much. Even that Youtube dude, ElPresador wouldn't be able to keep up, and he has apparent ADD.
@bobrea Amen...This is what I've been saying all along. I've been so addicted to the online, my wife for the first time ever has set time frames I'm allowed to play, lol. Also, I'm enjoying the campaign actually more than I thought I would.
Judging by a lot of the posts on this article, and the "kiss me, I love CoD" pro attitude, I'm starting to believe most posters on N4G are under the age of 12.
"The fact that the console version received the same score as the PC completely discredits this review."
WHY? Since when do console games get judged by PC counterparts and not on their own merits for whats offered on that console for the time? It's obviously a 9/10 for IGN on PC versus whats offered on PC...and it's obviously a 9/10 for IGN on consoles versus whats offered on consoles, so there's no problem here.
It's Grimm Sterling...If he isn't known as the Simmon Cowel of gaming, he will come and steal the last box of twinkies you might have lying around your house as he sluggishly runs away laughing.
I don't think a lot of these sites gave proper time into the BF3 multiplayer. I have, it's called 10 hours worth so far, and it plays like a BATTLEFIELD game...Gee, if anything, CoD stole a lot from the Battlefield games that came WAY before Call of Duty ever did.
BF3 plays like a very polished and updated Battlefield game...let's start there reveiwer's...I seriously should consider journalism. Jesus.
Wow, really, did he take into account the piss poor pop in that Frostbite 1 engine has? or the poor map design? or the lack of progression past lvl 25? I have 11 people playing BBC2 on my friends list, I've asked most how they like it and ALL including me say its way better than BBC2, and the lighting ALONE makes BBC2 look years old.
played it for 9 hours online so far, and its a big difference from BBC2, much improved. If were gonna judge BF3 based off what it doesn't do compared to its pc counterpart, then we need to do this for EVERY GAME from this point on.

Very good score from GI

@DA_SHREDDER
The mention of Black Ops being better than ANYTHING makes an opinion null and void. Hell, an STD is a little bit better than Black Ops.
Great game...This will be my multiplayer game I play for the next while.

Campaign = 8/10
Multiplayer = 10/10
Overall = 9/10

"Probably deserves around a 8 or 8.5 tops."
Probably deserves...as in you probably didn't play it, did you.

Yea it will...
From Cataclysm to Criticism.
And I'd argue NO on that...
This generation of consoles has been full of disappointment left and right when it comes to shooters.

Looks like Jimbo didn't play Team Deathmatch, I swear I run into more enemy players in that mode than I do in CoD...Not joking it's insane.

@Shadowaste
Your full of sh**. BF3 is easily the best looking online shooter out there on consoles, and played WAY better than BBC2.
