I like the pay model in this game. I'm gonna give this a try!
I want this game to be Valkyrie Profile so bad. If SO5 became a reality, why not VP?
RotTR releasing on the PS4 a year later might cause some more pitfalls for this game. If another high-profile game like Fallout 4 gets announced around the same time as TR does next year, it might greatly lose in popularity, and thus in sales.
If MS paid them a lot, then I guess this bold move is warranted. However, losing money is not the only issue here; losing loyalty from a good bulk of the Sony fanbase also is.
Case in point:
Imagine Horizon: Ze...
I got the beta! The servers are not active yet though.
Sales and popularity of a console matter really. From a business standpoint, devs will want to make games on a platform that has the highest chance of having their investment back.
Gamers should be welll aware of this by now.
I thought this game back in the PS2 era was good. Sadly, I wasn't able to beat it. Let me research on the new stuff they're going to include in this HD version.
It's always fun to know celebrities dig gaming.
Oh no Yu-Gi-Oh? Not that I play it, but at least it can improve that weak list somewhat.
Konami, oh how have you fallen...
Xbox got hit by a truck. Now it's in braces. I kid I kid. Lol.
I haven't played Minecraft, but I will give this a try. Maybe quest building plays a big role in this game. After all it's titled, Dragon QUEST BUILDERS. Lol!
Whoa no need for negativity here. I was just pointing out my observations. I cited two seemingly parallel examples as best as I could. And no matter what you say, the reboot Lara is too dark for me (and for a few people) compared to her old persona. Good day sir.
Edit:
To be fair, it's the tone of the game and its entirety that's dark. So i guess I'll take it for what it is. My opinion about her remains though.
She probably isn't suffering from PTSD, but she's just too dark in this reboot. I know CD has to move away from the wisecracking Lara, because if not she would be very similar to the good-natured Drake. That said, it's just really not enjoyable to see those leaps and glides Lara makes when the game demands her to take things way too seriously.
For example:
When Lara made those cliff jumps in the E3 demo, I felt pain and my face was distorted. When Drake an...
Calendar marked!
Day one for me. Love the art style!
Plus the promise of PSNow is gaming without a console. You can game with only a capable TV and a PS4 controller. They also said that mobile devices will also support PSNow. So yeah, there's no comparison.
What I don't understand is why Sony is completely mum about this. I know they don't own the series in anyway, but since PT has been associated with the PS4, they should at least say something. Maybe TGS? :(
I don't want to call it boring. I don't own an XboxOne, but I thought the game looked and played great. What I don't get from this reboot though is the exhilarating feeling I get from the UC series. I think it's because TR takes itself too seriously as opposed to UC where there's humorous undertones.
Example: When Nathan and Sully on that jeep leaped through the air, my heart seemingly stopped and I had a smile on my face.
When Lara came c...
Oh please. E3 is a trade show. It exists to let presenters woo and win business. And you guessed it, the business is the gamers.
I don't want to say Sony won E3, because it starts a never ending cycle of hate. But, I want to say they really made a big impact on the gaming community that day.
Though I really liked what i saw of Horizon, i wouldn't go saying it trumps UC on the graphics front. ND and the team are masters of their craft and they blew me away with what they showed at the conference. There's no need to bash UC for Horizon. They're quite different games.
I am replaying this masterpiece as it's completely free on PSN since I bought the original in 2012. This game is truly unique. I hope people give this a try. It's an emotional game without words!
