A 2d Metroid will undoubtedly be on 3ds. 2d games sidescrollers have a stigma that they are seen as not being worth full price. Since I font see a new Metroid being sold at indie prices I think Nintendo will make it 3d if it's on the wiiu.

From what I understand it's a case of a game being intentionally gimped to make nvidia seem superior. The fact is 290x is a better card and the benchmarks would show it if not for this optimization bs.
I really think they will. I feel like it's going to be zelda with the elder scrolls influence. Meaning that I think it's going to have a lot of exploration like skyrim and have the feel of a classic 3d zelda game. I hope they return to the windwaker's combat and expand on it. When I pick up enemy weapons I want the combat to change to accommodate. I don't want a spear to operate the same as a sword.

And this is why I use adblock. You want to advertise to me fine. I'm American so I'm used to being bombarded with advertisements. The second I have to constantly worry about popup videos playing at full blast and popups for websites completely unrelated to the one I'm viewing(I've had popups of cam sex sites when I was on a gaming website) I'll use adblock and I don't give a damn what money you lose in the process.
Nintendo aren't making this game. They just lent their characters to be used for the game.

My point was that parity between pc and console versions is not required for cross platform play. If you can't follow the dialogue don't comment.

Pc gameplay is scalable. You don't need to gimp to pc version to have crossplay between consoles.
