@truthbtold, I would hate to see how your kids turn out letting them play Resident Evil at such a young age. Oh wait you probably didnt even know it was available for Wii. Which is also probably why you get confused when these types of games are announced. There are already 2 RE games on Wii that sold over 1 million each.
Just because Sony says something, doesnt make it the truth.
more sales? Wii does have a much bigger install base. NOw you know how xbox and cube owners felt last gen when the inferior PS2 got every game almost even though they would have looked better on the more powerful consoles.
Nice shots. I notice though that instead of pointing out how many zombies are in the screen now they go right to graphics. Its been out for 18 months now. You have to be the biggest moron ever born if you still think Wii will put out 360 graphics. You kids are after all comparing early screens of the Wii build to the completed 360 version and are trying to act like it should be superior...
I have to laugh at all the Sony fans getting their panties in a twist over this..Everyone over there who wanted it got it. Now they need to reduce te price to convince those that are not die hard MGS fans to get it. Thats just life kids. Deal with it.
someone needs to learn what casual actually means. SSBB is not a casual title. NMH is not a casual title Scarface was not casual. Medal of honor is not casual. Yet they have been on Wii since launch. Your post only proves you dont own one.
I love how 99% of Wii hate comes from people with no facts or bearing on reality. They always spin everything to try to make it look bad but only make themselves and their chosen console look bad.
You claim Wii owners dont buy game syet Wii has a has a higher attach rate then the PS3 does and it sales the most software according to NPD and other sources.. It's hard to take someone so clueless seriously.
Enterprise was a decent show. Probably one of the coolest endings for one as well. Too short but at least fans did get an ending
It's funny this guy brings up Stargate as its been known about for months now. Sci fi channel has been talking about it nonstop during the show.
Blame Sony not Nintendo. If Sony wasnt still selling plenty of PS2's at 129, then the price of the Wii would drop. As it stands now no point dropping the price when it offers so much more than PS2 does for just over twice the price.
Certain things aren't but some things are. Like if I buy a game for the PC will it be compatible with every one of those companies products? Yes if its within the specs of the game. No matter what company makes a 3d graphics card it will pretty much work with any PC. The only thing you would need to do is get every dev to stick to a set spec for their games and only change it every 5 years or so. Just because there are many doesn't make it a bad thing and you clearly showed no example of it b...
let me give you some examples. Take the automobile industry. They still compete with each other yet every car made by any company that gets sold in the US has to meet certain standards. The TV industry has certain standards and yet they still manage to compete.one unified format for gaming would not lead to the end of competition. Thats really all that is need here. One unified standard for each company to make. Then it just becomes a choice of choosing the console that has the added features...
Tho only thing I cant understand is why so many people feel it is a bad thing. Some say it would take away competition and dev's would get lazy. First off it is not a competition between the 360 version of GTA4 and the PS3 version of GTA4. So even if that game got released on just one console it wouldnt suffer like many claim. Also dev's would still have to compete with other dev's for gamers money. It's not like they would all suddenly go " Oh we only have one to worry about now lets no...
@stephen, if your not a hater why do you say things like "casual gamers on Wii?" As if they are the only ones that own the console? Whatever crowd Okami was made for it seems more of those people own Wii's.
I think the one that is crippled is the one who cant seem to point and click. I had no problem getting controls on either console to work properly every time. It's just like I said already, the Wii controls were much quicker. So much quicker and more responsive it would be a shame to see it limited by analog again. OH And already know everyone of those disagrees comes from someone who never played the game on Wii.
LOL Yeah typical hater trying to blame a 2 year old port poor sales on Wii.It sold better on Wii then it did on PS2 when you consider the install base of each console.
Having it on the Wii is the only thing that really made it playable. IR function for drawing are way quicker than analog drawing. Made the pace of the game much quicker. I couldnt stand to see such a wonderful game be once again handicapped by limited controls, but that is what would happen if it was on PS3.
Yes because Core gamers want games like Blues Clues, My little Pony, Six Flags fun park,Sing it,Spongbob,Bratz, Ribbit King,CID the dummy,Harvest Moon, HAsbro Family game night,Jimmy nuetron, Hot Wheels,Jumper, Whirl Tour,Rugrats, Postman Pat, Drone Racing, etc. I could go on.. So thats all for hardcore gamers? It's funny because you act like you know what you are talking about but anyone who honestly looked at the PS2 library would be a fool to say it was completely for core gamers.XBOX yeah...
@gam71. It is obvious that Wii is inferior to PS3 and 360. I own one and I love it but there is no denying that.
