Yesterday PS3 shows poor sale sin US and it was nothing. Today Fanboys are talking about the death of 360 over a similar situation. I just have to laugh. Wii is kicking PS3 in every way that matters. For me the Ds wins for one simple reason. Portable GTA. No more single analog controls.
Them waiting a month then running 1 commercial a day during Transformers is hardly on the same level as the ad campaign for any other major title out there. Even Redsteel had more TV exposure then this game. When I talk about a proper ad campaign I am not talking about 1 commercial at 8am and then nothing. I am talking about ads on Raw, Ads on Sci fi channel, Ads during major television shows. Boom Blox didnt get the ad campaign it deserved.
Another thing to consider is where exactly they are shipping those 2.4 million a month. Japans sales my be decreasiong simply because they are shipping those units to the states or other areas. I cant wait til later on today when this news is posted as proof that the Wii fad is over. It should be good for a few laughs anyway.

I like hitting weekly sales on your chart and seeing the PS3 nose dive while the PS2 sky rockets. But I'll bet you'll still keep pulling it up as some kind of proof Sony is doing great in last place.
Comparisons show the PS3 is not on the same track as PS2 was. At this point PS@ WAS about 3-4 million ahead of where the PS3 is now and it had a major jump in sales at this time that the PS3 just isnt getting at all.

well tracking both the PS3 ad 360 on VGchartz shows that both are selling at the same rate. So PS3 is also selling poorly.
