Not sure if they post them but they do adjust their numbers to match. Sure its really just a rough guess but it is better than nothing.It seems though that most people only care when VGchartz is posting data that shows their console doing good, if not its not reliable and shouldnt be trusted.
Nintendo is selling and producing 2.4 million Wii's a month. The US install base of PS3 is only 5 million. In two months they will sale enough Wii's to counter Sony's entire US install base.. In order for the PS3 to even catch up the Wii would have to completely stop selling for 2 years. It might not be set in stone just yet but it will take a serious miracle for either the 360 or the PS3 to take on the Wii's numbers.
PS3=15 million. Wii= 31 million. So how to you explain THQ making 26m on Wii and only 6 million on PS3 if PS3 is so much better at selling games? Real proof not just opinion.
Proof of this would be? Please tell us all those quality 2 year old ports that failed to sale?

I have to laugh at anyone who bought M&M racing and thought they were getting quality for 19.99...haha.. casual gamers.. thats whats wrong with gaming today.. people buy crap for 19.99 and actually expect the same quality they are getting from 50.00 games..Thats like me buying a Kia and expecting it to handle just like a Ferrari.
Yes I saw the graph. I also have more knowledge of Wii sales then you do it seems. I noticed that both of you that disagreed failed to give any kind of example to prove me wrong.
It worked just fine for me. Movement took some adjusting as did sword fighting, but after a while I didnt have any problems with them. I do play a lot of RTS and Strategy games that side scroll so that may have made it easier for me to adjust to the control scheme. My biggest issue was the amount of glitches and bugs in the game. You could be fighting a group of 6 guys and they would all just freeze.
It is funny how "I dont think" becomes "wont" when the person posted this. I do not understand why some people feel the need to spin headlines to make consoles look bad. Is it fear? envy?
You are asking them for new IP's while talking about exactly that. I dont remember seeing Saints Row last gen at all. Also they are doing some amazing things on DS and Wii.
They made up all this stuff about poor Wii sales with no proof at all. Nintendo coming out and showing they are arong will only cause them to totally ingore the truth and keep spouting the same BS they have been for 2 years. Or they'll go from talking about poor Wii game sales to well it should sale better just look at the price of the Wii and its games.. E3 is a prime example of this. People complained about low 3rd party support and lack of VC. Nintendo showed at E3 they were working on fix...
I disagree. Core games would have no problem selling on Wii if dev's put the same amount of work into them. GH3 is a prime example. It was pretty much the same game for WIi as PS3 and 360. People took notice and bought it. Can you name off any other core franchise thats been on Wii that had the same effort put into it that failed to sale? I cant. It's all been rushed ports so far. GH4 will get killer sales on Wii because it has everything offered on any other console.
Oh well then they should go to a home and their parents should be charged also. SInce they are all under age and GTA4 is for adults only. Maybe its time we make parents responsible again.
If they dont sale a physical disc you cannot buy it. It will not be done by choice. Gamers will be forced into it.Developers want to stop theft and resale. Their thinking will probably bethat they wont lose any more money with DD then they with discs and piracy so let some people get pissed off.
You'll probably need to disc in to play the game even if it doesnt need to get any data off the disc.
It's a list mainly meant for core gamers. They'll have a casual list in a few weeks with some for you on it.

Nintendo produces 2.4 million units of Wii's a month and still cannot meet demand.Oh and Wii is at almost 14-15 million in the US. Very close to tripling the PS3 install base. I said 2 years ago that the PS3 would be a next gen Game Cube and for the most part my prediction came true. Even down to the Quality vs Quantity BS GC fanboys use to say back then.
Just because it is on the PS3 does not make it a AAA must own title. Just because it is coming to the 360 does not mean it will suck. I like how many Sony fans are quick to dismiss 360 games but they get mad if someone does it with a PS3 game. You would think that Lair, Haze and a few other PS3 games would have taught you this by now.Pretty sure I'll get some response telling me those games are old news not to bring them up. Yeah the both of those games are old but the story is the exact same...
MS had a year head start. Of course they sold more than Wii over all when you add in that extra year. Nintendo's chart was just the first 20 months of each consoles life.
