I love halflife 2 but it has some 1992 play mechanics that seem so dated now, i really hope they drop some of them. Fingers crossed; please god no horridly to long and boring vehicle parts and no gauntlet-esque antlion spawner parts.

That’s cool that the 360s graphics are better but to be honest graphics are a secondary concern in my opinion. Looks like I will be getting the ps3 version (first time for everything) this time because control is paramount for a game.

Graphics have nothing to do with the game being fun to play. I am not saying this game is bad but you cant say its good simply because the graphics are good.

Anyone who hasnt played the game or is a fanboy could easily say that but look at it from a logical standpoint. Snake is trying to save the world and the chief is trying to save the entire universe. Snake is to busy dealing with otacons drama about humping his mom to be in the same league as the chief.

Doja the thing is when you appear in the chamber all of the enemies you have hurt are still hurt so in theory you could kill a big daddy with a wrench. So if you are low on health packs it may be better to die than use a health pack since you loose no progress.

I hope they are not reincarnations of the bosses from part 1. The story in part 2 went off the deep end (otacon humping his own mom just wasn’t needed) and to bring them back would be a step in the wrong direction for the story in my opinion. I would like the game to veer back towards the story direction of part one or part 3 rather than the comic book lunacy of part 2 (a vampire named vamp is just pure cheese). That being said the bosses look SICK and I can’t wait to kill them.
doshey obviously you are a young and naive lad who is new to the gaming industry. Ms, nintendo and sony have all done this for years and it never happens.
