OK computer Mario 3, Mario world and Mario sunshine had parts in them that were 10 times harder than any games that are out now. I agree with you. Mario has traditionally been a harder game and caters to hardcore gamers. I think the game will be amazing but i dont think it will be something that the non traditional gaming audience that the wii has done so well with will get into.
AAA can mean different things to different people so I personally stick with reviews tabulation sites like metacritic to decide what is AAA or not. Getting paid to play and review games carries much more weight than a 12 year with a spelling problem and only a ps3 giving it a review (yes nasim I am talking about you). Wow hell has frozen over for the first time ever i think i actually agree with The mart!
Oblivion was a killer app and it came out in march for the 360. Anything over a 90 on metacritic is a killer app in my opinion.
Could someone who hit disagree please explain why? I am not saying halo 3 will be a good game or that its better than any other game but it does have more pre-orders than any other game in history at the moment which more than assures that it will destroy any thing else that comes out this year IN REGARDS TO SALES.
I will bet any and every person in this room 1000$ bucks that halo 3 will be the undisputed sales king this season. It would idiotic to think otherwise. The pre-orders alone guarantee this. Bioshock got near perfect reviews and it has yet to sell 1/4th of what halo 3 has in pre-order, that is a profound statement.

The music for final fantasy vii is in my opinion some of the greatest game music ever made. Square would be stupid to not remake this game, it is a masterpiece through and through.

Crimson the fact that you cut and paste that directly from WIKIPEDIA only further tosses doubt on the 2012 idea. Wow this seems like a very desperate move on sonys part. Why not just give us a patch that lets us play with the stick? That would solve a lot more problems than telling how to play it.
