It's pretty hard to be both unpredicable and believable. Derivative and easily forseeable storylines are not a purposeful choice of game developers. They are simply the best most writers and storyboarders are capable of.

Sure it seems weird that 360 is number 1 until you understand what their criteria are. If you drop a 360, a PS2, and a SNES off of a building which one has lost the least value? Exactly.

I agree about the jumping though. More mechanics would be great, like walking, jumping, flying, etc.
This is good news. the PS4 will want something like this. And to all the people who somehow think downloading games over the internet is the future and Blu-ray autoloses well I bet you finally feel vindicated now. For only $300 you'll be able to own 5 100 GB 8th generation games, or 10 current generation games (150 X-Box 360 games). What more could a gamer ask for? And if for some strange reason you want more than 5 games you can get a second HDD you glutton.
Maybe Sony just figures that GTA V won't be able to fit on a DVD so they don't have to pay 50 million dollars to win a brand that should never have gone cross-platform in the first place.
I wouldn't worry about Microsoft though. They can just cobble together a new console every time they want more money and apparently people will buy it (twice if they release a 2nd model that includes features needed for gaming).
Appropriateness aside they just come off as really stupid. PS3's are perfectly suited to help cure the diseases mentioned. And they are now at this very moment being used to help study Alzheimer's disease, cancer, Parkinson's disease, Mad Cow disease, cystic fibrosis, and Huntington's disease among others using distributed computing.
I see a similar kind of thing all the time at the grocery store I work in. Someone purchases a box of dried beans only to go home, open it up, and find someone has removed the dried beans and replaced them with an X-Box 360.
Of course there's nothing the store can do about it unless it happens to more people.

PC's have mouse and a keyboard. Those are their only advantages I can think of. If Sony ever figures out how to release a PS3 based PC they'll be done for.

I think I speak for all RPG fans when I say all I want from an RPG is the customization and interactivity of Mass Effect, the replay value of Diablo, the length and nonlinearity of Morrowind, the graphics, storyline, and character quality of Final Fantasy, the character quantity of Suikoden, the class system of Baldur's Gate or Neverwinter Nights, the epic scale of Chrono Trigger, the humor of Earthbound, the online experience of World of Warcraft, and the combat of Call of Duty 4.
