True, I just wish they had more Eastern style dragons. Those are even cooler.
Which ever character made them want to put a $20 in their jock the most. That's really the only litmus to use.
No doubt about it. Amazing game.
I actually hated the first one haha. I know I'm in the minority, but I thought it was extremely boring.
Hate gaming on laptops, but I'm willing to change my mind if someone comes out with something new.
IMO You could make a strong case for this as being in the top five. SoT is a truly transcendent gaming experience.
SO looking forward to this. That said, I think Famitsu is full of it. No way it's a 10.
Sorry. Completely disagree. PC shooters have historically been based on a server model, not on a matchmaking system.
You're right that the first Halo was probably the best game, but saying that Halo 2 wasn't revolutionary is just flat out wrong. Every single online multiplayer shooter since Halo 2 (and with Modern Warfare 2 this is starting to include PCs as well) has been based on Halo 2's online system and matchmaking.
Halo 2 set the tone for the second half of the decade and gave rise to the popularity of online shooters on the console which eventually turned into one of the biggest genres a...
I think Bruce Willis would be a horrible pick. Dolph Lundren ftw.
Fantastically amazing game. No list like this could have been complete without it.
This set the standard for multiplayer during the last third of the decade. Everything will be emulating this game for at least 5-6 years. Like Halo or UT.
Really liking this list so far. No doubt KoTOR needed to be in this. Incredible game.
I got NOTHING out of it. A complete waste of time as far as I'm concerned.
10 years ago I would have agreed, but Forza is the new king. And Split/Second is now a serious competitor to Burnout in the arcade sector of racing. Although I think they'll just end up helping each other as they boost consumer desire for arcade racing.
I don't disagree, but GT has stagnated since GT3: A-Spec, and Forza has continued to push the envelope and really has become the best sim racer around.
Before this article was written they should have actually looked at the checks and realized they were fake. The address was like "666 Hell" and the routing number was 666666. No bank in the world would have cashed this thing. Stop getting in a tizzy about this and start focusing on the REAL way gaming media is bought. Advertising deals.
Muramasa looks amazing, glad to see it's got some gameplay meat on it's bones too.
Dude, did you play Split/Second at E3? It's beyond exciting to me.
Definitely the best one IMO.I don't think anything in that entire generation matched MP.
