The S is a gen-bridge console that was marketed as current-gen.
MS smoke & mirrors…
Agreed, I think that’s exactly the market for it.
In any home where the TV is already being used by someone, you’ll now have the option to still play your PS5 games.
Only concern will be the battery & strength of the wifi, & I’m not really fond of not being able to connect your own bluetooth devices (i.e. wireless earphones).
All in all I think it’s smart, catering to growing gaming households.
Ghost of Tsushima and SP were my 2020 goty & dev of the year.
To digital deluxe or not to digital deluxe, that is the question.
Ok & will you buy it at $50? I’d love for dualshockers to answer that simple question. That is the whole issue.
Because then if they do what will the next article be? "The price is high but RDR is still so good"?Subliminally hinting at others to buy it further increasing today’s greedy state of the industry?
So dualshockers, you buying at 50?
I’m against any form of patent of gameplay mechanic.
Why stop there? Why not patent graphics on screen while you’re at it. Or title screens. Or pause menus while playing.
This should be illegal.
Anyone who’ll buy it is part of the problem.
I’m getting it day 1, & if it’s good & they eventually release a physical version I’m buying it again!
I have it in my wishlist. Trying as much as possible to avoid any gameplay related info.
Can’t wait for next month!
Great game.
Really enjoyed playing solo as well as with others.
Who’s upset? I’m saying this because I want them to succeed. & this is coming from someone who’s not that big a fan. I only watched the movies (which I loved), never read the books.
They made a great Harry Potter game, but an overall ok game. Legacy did some things right but other things wrong (game design-wise).
I don’t think the sales should be a metric for success here. Fans were hungry for anything Harry Potter & this one hit the spot but imo could’ve been better in many ways.
I’ll call it a good start (as a game), but Avalanche Software will have to be careful with the sequel.
You can’t keep making trailers trying to convey seriousness then add Mbappe & Nicki Minaj as operators. Well of course you can but definitely don’t expect me to suspend my disbelief for your “seriousness”.
Absolute no respect to the original work, smh.
Not all Middle-East, just checked, I can pre-order.
In any case, come release date (physical or digital) I’ll be playing it. Watch me.
@Abriael
There aren’t that many gaas games & only a handful last for many years. Not that daunting of a task for serious gaming sites.
Continued gaas games reviews (replacing maybe clickbait articles) would also build loyalty to such sites where readers will always come back for the latest review updates (doesn’t have to be every month). Site clicks also generate funds from the ads on said site.
This has nothing to do with holding ...
This. If you’re getting 1 experience at launch (& therefore the review at that time) & a different one through gaas, then maybe update the review to reflect the experience through gaasing.
Ongoing games should have ongoing reviews. That way players can see if the game is the same, getting better or worse.
When you end up getting a better service through piracy, unbelievable. & yet another argument for physical.
FUbisoft.
Booom! This is going to be spectacular!
Let’s gooooo!!
« …CP2077 released on shaky grounds… » is quite the understatement.
I’m certainly there raising CDPR on a pedestal for TW3, but after CP2077 you can tell me of 100 ways Phantom Liberty will be totally different I’ll still be waiting for proper reviews.
That’s about right. By the time I got my bearings with the controls & different systems things started to feel really good.
So far the setting is right up my alley, I’m loving the story & character stories. Intrigue definitely sets in.
The voice acting is very good & the narrator is superbly well voiced.
Didn’t know I missed turned based that much :)
