Yeah I feel they almost pulled a fast one on me there.
I still maintain it’s not pay to win & you can unlock a lot in reasonable times, but after consideration it’s a $40 game, with MTs, that shouldn’t be ok. Also the fact it’s a successful game should be enough argument against the MTs.

My anticipation has been growing by the minute for Rise of the Ronin & Dragon’s Dogma 2. It’s weird they’re coming out on the same day. Might start with Ronin as I think DD2 is one to take more time.
Until then, I have to admit I haven’t finished Remake (but I feel I should first) & I might develop a case of fomo & just go for Rebirth. RedXIII & cosmo canyon are calling to me.

I understand getting frustrated with not being able to play especially that it’s an online game, & maybe Stephanie has had really bad luck with connecting.
Afaic it’s down to a 5/10. Can’t recommend a game that can only be played 5 out of 10 tries (latest attempt was last night).
The worst times are when it does work & it crashes a few minutes before extraction & you lose all rewards you would’ve gotten.

I stopped for a few days because of server issues & in-game very low FPS, but definitely going back soon. Hopefully things will be fixed by then. Super fun game.
One of the reasons I’d rather they don’t exit is because competition keeps the players in check. Problem is xbox has been playing…with their feet. They need to wake up & focus on making some good games. Yes yes the games are coming well they’re late.

If they make a profit with current offerings, everything that can come to other platforms will.

If they make a profit, they’ll have no choice, everything will eventually come to other platforms. It’s their last move, release year old titles on other platforms while keeping new titles exclusive to gamepass. All other games will follow if they make a profit with that model. All the wording in the podcast is to ease their fanbase into this.

Not great, but It was to be expected after the whole GaaS debacle...but like others have said, "existing" may be a hint here (hopefully :) ). New IPs are always welcome. If it takes the others until 2025 to release quality titles then so be it, I'd rather they don't rush anything. I know 1 thing though, ND better make something crazy good.

Ok let me clarify. By progress I meant unlock.
Afaik You can unlock everything by playing & without it being a huge grind (still checking on the grind).
If you pay you unlock faster.
Also it’s a PVE game. In which context are we competing with each other for your analogy to make sense? Genuinely asking.
It’s not pay to win, more like pay to progress faster. You can unlock everything by playing the game & it feels like unlock pace is reasonable, not a grind-fest which is what I was worried about.
PS5 crashed once & had to play alone due to matchmaking issues (hopefully fixed soon), besides that overall the game is good fun.

Not as funny as #xbox180.
They can plan on allocating Billions for acquisitions, but when it comes to planning on allocating funds to keep the workforce, you know, the ones that can make the games you sell & make them good, no now that’s too much. Easier to just get to chopping…what a disgrace.
The more I see & learn about this game, the more time I feel I’m going to spend playing it.
To this day one of the best games on PS5. One of the best uses of dualsense too (after Astro).
